Thread: Heavy X Wing quest

Okay. I've been doing missions for the lady at the Kashyyyk space station and I did quests for the guy on the ground until he told me to talk to my alliance superiors, or something to that effect. A friend of mine told me that its codename for the space station because its a hidden rebel station. So I went to combatant according to my friend's instructions and talked to the woman onthe station.
Nothing happened. She only gives me the option to do duty missions or I can find rodians or some other guys, or I can talk to the guy in the YT-1300 for "challenging" missions.
What exactly do I have to do? Duty missions don't end till I choose to end them so I don't see how they advance my quest.
Anybody know what I have to do or have a clicky to a game guide for this quest?

You need to go to the Rebel Outpost in Kashyyyk space to get the mission for the Heavy X-Wing. It's not listed in the POI tab. But you can find it by bringing up your space map (default is the N key I believe), the Rebel Outpost is listed under Space Stations. Make a waypoint for it so you can always find it.
When you get there and talk to the outpost, you want to say you're looking for a challenge to get the mission for the Heavy X-Wing.

HELP! I'm doing that challenging mission. I disabled the corvette but im having alot of trouble keeping it alive. is there a trick? Also how the heck do i defeat that gunship?

yup exactly like he said. I actually did it 6k away from space station and was ok. Just watch out for residul ships and gunboat when going to claim your reward.

Disable the corvette without taking out any of its guns (can be done if you approach it from behind and stay there). Don't disable it before it is approx. 5500 clicks away from the spacestation: thosegunboats won't even spawn.
