i really think if u did complete any of the new wookie world starfighter quests, u shoud be able to pilot them. im only 3-3-2-2 imp pilot and i did complete e the jedi fighter quest, but i cant fly it because im not 4-x-x-x. And im not a big fan of JTL hate doing the same missions over and over again when i fail them(YES i use a tie bomber with top notch components and YES i do get help)

It is very annoying to finish a quest, then get a reward and in the end not be able to fly it. Why not be able to fly the reward fighters at your level in the end the components will still be at your current level?

sorry about spelling

I'm 3-3-2-2 too. it has been my DREAM to pilot an Arc-170! Than I find out it is only for Tier 4 people. And yet Tier 3 is near impossible to complete!

yea i know!! thoose tier 3 missions are damn difficult and frustrating u spend hours just to fail, and have to do it over again. Even with my tie bomber filled with top notch componets they are way to difficult. All we ask for is to be able to use our rewards, let all who complete thoose quest be able to fly the rewards, because when it comes down to it, its all about the components that make u fighter strong

The Jedi Starfighter is mainly for elite pilots because it gives the new edge in pvp (which mostly (hopefully) masters only participate in)

I dropped Rebel Colonel, Rebel Pilot, went imp for a few hours, did the quest, and then totally regrinded pilot. Took me roughly 8 hours of constant playing to get back to master again.

And yes, it is an incentive. By needing to get to 4333 to fly it, youll need better equipment, which will hopefully give shipwrights some more business.

Higher Certification, Greater Ships.

Is it that hard to understand ?

Ships get better as you go up the tree, that's just how pilot works. And most of the new ships are really nice, it's pretty generous that they're certed below Master.

Although the newZ95, Scyx and TIE heaviesare all tier-1s. Those are great ships for that level.

Stop whining.... you think that all of the freelance guy's cried that the yt-1300 was a master ship, and not a level 1.. BOO-HOO.. work it off bub... I for one think that the speciality ships like grevious's, jedi starfighter, and the Arc-170, should have been master certs....Thos ships are unbelivable quick, and agile, and with the correct ShipWright (plug for my bud Profit on Bloodfin), you can get very low mass parts, with high yield, and they are the most powerful ships in the game.. I have a firespray, and sience i got the jedi starfighter I dont think I have used it once..(and that is the most sought after ship in the game, 8Mil on cost).....The Arc.. holy crap take that to kessle with 2 buds.... you firing arc is 170 degrees ( hence the name, if no one knew)...so stop bitching that you cant fly it... aaaaawwwww.... sorry guy this is not trophy, but for the serious space jocky.... Outta my way canon fodder.

Its called a goal. You can't have everything handed to you. I wanted a YT1300 so I put in the time and effort to master pilot. If i couldn't beat a mission I got help.

Seriously most space missions aren't really that hard. Privateer=easy to solo...i even soloed the vette. Rebel=medium difficulty..stayed with the x wing i like having some mass with my ships...but thats me. Use y wing to blow up vette...a little more difficult than privateer but not bad killing vette with help...still possible to solo though. Imperial=hard. Partly due to low mass ships but also due to having to fight higher tier ships in that low mass ship. Best advice bring some privateers along and use them to tank and cause general havok...or bring several friends along. Vette is still about the same difficulty a bit easier in my opinion due to the bomber strikes.

Dude... I have spent a GREAT deal of time helping ppl like yourself to make ACE.

Instead of complaining about the missions you are failing... figure out WHY you are failing, go up with a decent wingman (and often times you only need one), and get your ACE title... then you can fly any ship in the game (except those that are faction specific, which are not your faction).

If you were on Naritus, I guarantee you I'd have you up to ace by this weekend.

Get off yer butt man... do it.

And one more thing... I flew a TIE Bomber for the LONGEST time... I did not give it up till a couple months after I made Ace... and even so it was only because it was getting low on hull strength, and someone convinced me the Oppressor was better (which it is). The TIE Bomber will handle like a slug for those who do not approach it right... but it can be a dream flight, IF you understand how it reacts, and what to do to coax what you need from it. (And a good computer and parts helps too). I mis my double beer cans... but I have moved on.

The Grievous ship is great, The Jedi Starfighter is great... have not had the opportunity to fly an ARC-170 (And still wondering if I can)... but the TIE series still remains my first love. Even the venerable Bomber. I killed my first corvette in that thing... and it was good.

my little beast of burden was my first TIE Interceptor, damn i loved that ship (cep't the one weapon thing *cough*add another one to the royal guard version!*cough*). participated in my very first vette hunt in that thing... and then there was the advanced.... not quite the intimidating look of the interceptor, but hey, it did it's job. and then came master, the oppressor, the firespray, and the Eta-2 Actis Interceptor. where was i? oh yeah, my point is, you get to use better ships the higher you go. work at it, it may be frustrating at times, but it's most certainly doable!
