I 'm a combat level five brawler hanging around Mos Eisly.
I think that Explorer missions is the only way to gather XP points and credits (kill 45 gorg for example).
Is there another way?(I'm trying to find a guild but nothing so far...)
Another thing....
I've seen some 150 level players. How can this be?
Climbing up the combat professions (like brawler), only takes you up about 10 to 15 level (i think).Learning some medicalskills doesn't level up your character (the number on the upper-left corner on the screen). Is something that i keep missing?
Any help would be appreciated...
Thnx

Ok for starters you should be doing destroy missions for xp if you really wanna level.
They're off the mission terminals(the orange ones near the starports and such).
And the max Combat Level for players is 80. You may have seen an NPC or something with that level 150(though for the life of me I don't know where you'd encounter one with such a high level this early in the game for you).
And I'm not for sure on the detail of leveling post-CU,but just keep leveling in your combat professions(stuff in markman and brawler skill trees). Also not clear on if Medic adds to your Combat Level. Maybe someone else can elaborate.
Medic is still useful,I thought it was useless and gave it up,and now I need it more than ever. The healing abilities from medic make it worth the combat levels you're missing out on by having the medic skills.

Medic does add to your combat level, as do Doctor and Combat Medic...Bio-Engineer, however, does not add to Combat Level. As far as I know any profession having to do with music, dancing, or crafting (save Smuggler) does not add to your combat level. And the optimum wayforyou to grind would be to try andgrab a group atDantooine Mining Outpost...good quick exp.
