I see this shouted at the Dantoo mining outpost for example. Sort of contradictory so what does it really mean. I am working on TKA and want to join in groups for the xp. Thanks

Well, it is just a group formed solely to get better missions for solo players. The group stays together, but the actual players go their separate ways after picking the best possible missions

A solo group? Ugh...the concept hurts my brain ![]()
He probably means grouping up so the players can get better missions and more xp, but all the group members go out solo on their own missions.

Solo' group just means you group solely for the purpose of getting higher difficulty missions, which equals higher payout upon completion.
I'm sure you've noticed that on Dant' about the best you can get solo, w/o pets, etc. Is about 12k or lower paying missions, get in a group, you can get up to about 27k, depending on group size. Some people are able to do these missions alone, but still need group to get the high lvl missions from terminal, so they group, but they just go out hunting alone, hence the term "Solo Group."

Hey guys.. I have been away from SWG for quite a while now....
I have been hearing the term "SOLO group" often, on the forums and in game...
What is a "SOLO group"? How does it differ, if at all, from a normal group?
thanks in advance!

From what I hear, you join a gigantic group but you go do missions all on your own (solo if you will) and all the momey earned from everyone else is pooled together

A solo group is a large group you join so that the missions you do by yourself are of much higher difficulty ratings then if you did them without the group, this leads to higher payouts in the same period of time.
you still do the missions by yourself and collect all the rewards for the mission but you can take missions that pay 3 to 4 x as much as a mission you could get if you were purely solo

Yep, and if you are near another group member, then the payout is divided between all that are near. So be sure to keep an eye out on your group list to be aware if anyone is trying to steal some of your rewards. (Usually people are nice and will tip the credits back to you, though.)

Can't you just disband, then go on the missions?
That way you don't have to worry about someone snakin' your credits....

the xp is also all yours too
LvL 99 Huurton Stalker missions are the best for mid level.
4.5-5k xp per Huurton, and there's probably near 20 of them.

well, if you want to do more missions you'll have to join another group.
If you're in it for the xp, you get an xp bonus for being in a group.
