Thread: If I unlocked in March, shouldnt the old man be automatic.

I unlocked my jedi character way before patch 9, now today, the old man has not come and I only feel a surge of the force?!?!
I thought that the pre-9 unlockers would be automatic unlocks since we ahve already done what is necessary for my toon.

It looks to me like the Dev's were playing with us.... I mean finally you think the people who valued gameplay and actually playing with their friends would finally be rewarded for not grinding in a little hole on Dath or a hole in the wall cantina. But once again they screwed us with this making us wait for what could be weeks before you see a old man so to all of you who cares just play something else again for a few months until they fix this.

If you unlocked before publish 9 you should already have your jedi? It was only people between patch 9 and 10 who didn't get their jedi right? Why have you waited since March to create Jedi?
Second, no one is screwed or has to wait. If you want to get into the village right away, becoming glowing with the force. If you are in one of the groups and don't want to be glowing, well then just wait. From TH's post
Of course, if you qualify for the visit under the new system, you will automatically be granted a visit from the old man.

If I already unlocke pre-9 I have completed everything I need for jedi.
Yes I have made a jedi now that I actively play.
My main however should still be able to get the old man and get the 6 FS branches...
ON TC I was able to get the old man and now I cant.

When you do /checkforce it tells you how far along you are in the *current* system. I know a guy who unlocked the same time as you and it says he barely feels different and he grinded 30 professions. To be visited you'll have to do all the things it takes to get visited (ie, get a bunch of explorer and content badges).
