Thread: So, Do Group 4 Players Have To Wait In Line For 6 Whole Months ???

while all you people hologrinded, some of us were out there exploring the galaxy, fighting everything, taking quests, getting badges, etc...
dont think of it as a 6 month wait, think of it as time to just sit back and play the game...
do you have all the corvette badges?
etc....

been there done that, i want to do FS quests now, i already expolred the galaxy, ive killed everything ones aleast, im done, how the hell do you think i got glowy anyways..im done, i want in the village, if im not in there in 3 days, im going to be horrabily pissed off

Please note: The following is based on my experiance during testing publish 10 on TC2:
You could always start stacking XP.... (This is killing me already typing all this out again!!!!)
Right: Once you get your visit from the old man and get to the village you start your quests to unlock the FS boxes. However, you still need to get teh FS XP to fill said unlocked boxes you need to get Force Sencitive XP (FSXP) You get this by converting Regular XP by the means of talking to one of the NPCs in the Village.
Now, the hard facts & figures:
As far as I know to get to Jedi Initiate you'll need to get 6 trees filled from the 4 new FS "professions" - Combat Prowess, Heightened Scences, Crafting Mastery and Heightened Reflexes.
Since each "Profession" has only 4 skill trees (like any normal one) you'll need to novice up at least two of them.
So for argument sake lets say you are planning on getting all the combat prowess and two heightened reflexes.
You will require 4750000 FSXP for Novice Combat Prowess and the 4 skill trees.
You will require 2450000 FSXP for Novice Heightened Reflexes and the 2 Skill trees there.
Total FSXP required = 7200000. Don't sound to bad do it....? I mean, you've mastered combat professions, should be a doddle right?
WRONG!!!!!!!
This is the REAL nasty part (sorry!)
The conversion: (again, as it was during my time on test center)
You will get 1 FSXP point for every 30 weapons XP you have.
You will get 1 FSXP point for every 15 COMBAT XP you have.
There are other XP types you can convert at various rates but since a lot of us will have mostly combat and weapons XP then I'll stick to these figures.
Should you use JUST weapons XP for conversion you will have to aquire and convert 261000000 XP to meet requirements for Jedi Initiate.
Should you use JUST combat XP for conversion you will have to aquire and convert108000000 Combat XP to meet requirements for Jedi Initiate.
Now I realise that you won't be using JUST combat or JUST weapons XP, but you get a damn good idea from these figures of what it is you need to be doing whilst waiting for the visit from the old man now 
Please don't flame me if something has changed or I have miss calculated figures!
I have a feeling this will put off a lot of players from even starting the trials (and please, to those who HAVE been put off then PLEASE don't take up the old man on his offer so as others can procees up their FS skills)
My appologies if I've done this but I think its better to know before hand than have it sprung on you when you get to the village eh?
