I am a Doc, I craft meds a lot, have been for a while. I have a +20 Experimentation Med suit, and close to or +20 in Assembly on the suit.

I eat poylion cake +15 to assembly(or whatever it is called), and suck back a hit of Bespin port.

I start the crafting session, add all my ingredients, hit assemble. 9 times out of 10 I get "Amazing Success" on the assembly roll. I continue and Experiment, and EVERY time (bespin port or not), if the assembly has been an amazing, I only get good or less on the experiment. No exceptions.

If I do *not* eat the cake I get a "Great Success" on the assembly most of the time (either great or crit fail) and my experimentations are almost always great success.

Is this by design? if so, why? why would I always get mediocre results experimenting on an amazing assembly?

I tested this with my good, great, and not so great ingredients, and the same results, over and over...amazing success == crap product due to crappy experimentation on the first experimentation roll.

Looks like a bug to me.
