To get a second account do you need to buy another copy of the game?

yes, you need the key on the new box plus another $15 a month - totally worth it though!

I had to buy another game, but it comes with 30 day subscription.

To create a second account, do I need to actually go out and buy another SWG:TTE box, or is there somewhere online (SOE or LA) where I can just buy another account key? Seems like kind of a waste of resources to have to buy a box that I'm going to get a number of off and then throw away...

Well, the CD in the box is rather handy in case you ever need to reinstall the game...

But if you check some of the major online game shops, I think you can find what you need.

I know other people have done this. - No idea which sites they used, though.

well i bought SWG on day one and since then they released the total experience which has all the updates from day one to rotw release so i would buy that just incase u have to reinstall because its only an hour download now rather than 4 if you only have empire devided

but i did check and SOE dont give out Keycodes but you might get an account off ebay that way you dont have to buy game but you run the risk of someone comming back in game reclaiming the character

you can just buy the serials from some sites my mate sent me one once.

it was the whole game to download and the serial was sent seperate so you didnt have to download

if you didnt need the whole thing.

cant remember the name of the site tho sorry
