I am in need of some help. Can someone tell me step-by-step where to go and what to get in the warren? I've been there three times now and have been killed each time running around aimlessly. If I had some objectives to go after I'd do a lot better. They are the last 2 things on my list to open up the FS village. Please help!!!!

The Escapee (The Warren)

* Introduction *

'The Warren' is an Imperial research facility headed by Colonel Teraud located between the Imperial and Pirate outposts of Dantooine. Things started to go sour when Teraud began unauthorized experiments on not only creatures, but humans as well. He began to research cyborg technology to make advanced warriors. These 'tests' began to get out of control and some of the test subjects began to get aggressive. Then he tried the ultimate experiment. To merge a brain into a massive machine, the AT-ST. Like most of the other experiments, the AT-ST would not accept commands, but did have to ability to maneuver the vehicle. It is your job to alert the Empire about the Colonels 'tests' and find enough evidence to prove your point to the Empire.

Location of the Warren: Dantooine (-546, -3846)

Location of the Escapee: Outside Warren's entrance (within 500m).

Once you arrive at the Warren, begin by finding the escapee (usually east of the Warren's enterance). He's usually within 300 meters from the front door, but can be farther out (500m). Talk to him and ask him where the Warren is and he will give your the passkey to get in and a waypoint in your datapad to the front door of the Warren.

Compassion

The Compassion badge is fairly simple to get. You have to find the letter from a corpse which turns out to be the husband of a widow inside the complex. Your job is to find the widow and give her the letter. This part of the Warren is fairly easy, but still requires teamwork if your not a hardcore combat profession. You must find keys to unlock the deactivated elevator to get to the subterranean floors of the Warren. To do this entails disabling a turret, which requires to proper password. This job isn't light however, for there are compound guards and experiments-gone-bad around every corner

Warren Badge: Compassion

Bio Badge: ...showed great compassion toward the widow of an Imperial worker.

Planet/Location: Dantooine/Warren

Individual/Group: Individual or Group (If grouping, read note under instructions)

Instructions: See map below for reference

1). Begin by entering the Warren and proceeding down the main entry way until you are in a room with four doors (three plus the one you came through).

2) Go to the door to the far west and follow it until it 'T's off. Go east. You will see a corpse on the ground (C2) and be able to loot the 'Turret Sequence' disk from it.

Note: The turret sequence code changes from time to time, so make sure yours is up-to-date.

3) Next, take the hall west of the 'T' and you will be in a room with a bunch of lockers and beds. There will be two corpses. One which holds 'a letter' (C1) and the other which has 'Master Control Room Elevator Control Passkey One' (K1). Loot both of these. Next, look for the Locker (K3), MagSeal Container (K4), and Metal Chest (K2) that you can open. These three containers hold the other 3 keys to the master control room elevator control.

Note: The letter and keys spawn every 30min-60min (approximately)

4) Next, go back to the room with the four doors and take the door that is on the south side. Follow the hall around and it will open up into another room. Take the door to the west and when you enter the small room, go to the terminal (x) on the north side of the room and speak the code from the turret sequence disk to disable the turret.

Note: Once the turret is deactivated, it will remain deactivated for all players for a short time and then will have to be deactivated again.

5) Leave that room and now enter the second door (eastern most door) on the south wall. There take the elevator up (E1). When you come out, you will see the turret (t) through the first door. Take the door to the south of the turret. You are now in the elevator control room. Use the four passkeys on the four terminals (o) to unlock the elevator to the subterranean level 1 (E2).

6) Now go back to where you found the corpse with the 'Turret Sequence' disk on him (C2) and use the elevator next to him to go down to the second floor.

Note: Once the elevator has been activated, it will stay activated for players for a short time and then will have to be activated again.

7) Proceed through the rooms until you find the widow, Mirla (located on subterranean level 2). Follow step 3 from Imperial Hero to find her.

Note for grouping:

This badge can be obtained by a group as long as everyone has 'a letter' from the corpse to give to the widow

Welcome to your worst nightmare. Not only has Colonel Teraud made cyborgs that are now trying to stop you, he laid out the welcome mat with a 14K HAM AT-ST with a brain. Your next goal is to gather enough evidence from the compound to be able to alert the Empire of Teraud's actions. To do this, you must seek out the four evidence disks and the encryption key. These disks contain the information you need to return. The next step is to find out who to return it to (or read the spoiler below). Mirla seemed to be appreciative of you telling her about her husband, and gave you the password to the cell. Your next goal is to find out what is there? On your way, you can begin to collect the evidence disk data. You will soon find out that the last disk you need is past Teraud himself protected by a reactor fail-safe guard to his control room. You must locate the reactor rods and place them in the reactor to get access to Teraud and the final piece of data.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Warren Badge: Imperial Hero

Bio Badge: ...proved Colonel Teraud's perfidy and rendered great services to the Empire!

Planet/Location: Dantooine/Warren

Individual/Group: Individual or Group

Instructions: See maps below for reference

NOTE: You will need the password Mirla gives you when you complete Compassion to complete this part (unless you use the spoiler below).

Rebels can acquire this badge.

1). Follow steps to unlock surface level elevator (E2) from Compassion

2) Download Evidence Disk (experiment #1046) from the data terminal (x1).

*Disks are stored in datapad.

3) Take an elevator (E3 or E4* ) down to the second subterranean level.

Mirla

*If you need to get to Mirla (for Compassion badge), take elevator (E4). Then take the hall to the east and then the first hall to the right (east). Once you enter the room, there will be a door to the north on the east wall. Follow it until you see a door with debris in front of it. Destroy the debris and Mirla is behind the door. Talk to her (which will automatically give her the letter) and tell her about her husband and you will receive the Compassion badge and a password. This password will be used to complete the Imperial Hero badge (Is not required if you use the spoiler).

Note: The password Mirla gives you changes from time to time, so if you don't complete the Imperial Hero badge afterwards, you either need to find a player with the current password or use the spoiler below.

4) Contine to download the remaining two available Evidence

Disks (experiment #1173, x2) and (experiment #1230,x3) and the Encryption

Key* (x5).

*Key is stored in datapad.

5) You can use the spoiler below to skip this step.

Go to the cell and say the password, then take the FOUO disk from the corpse (C3). This disk contains instructions on who to take the evidence to for the badge.

Note: This disk spawns every so often, if it has already been looted, you'll have to wait for it to respawn.

6) Go to the elevator to the third subterranean level (E5).

7) Collect the two reactor core control rods (R 2x) from the drum in each room.

Note: If you run along the far side of the wall, you can avoid being targeted by the altered AT-ST. Also, if the rods have already been looted, they spawn every so often, so you'll have to wait for them to respawn.

Take the elevator back to the second subterranean level.

9) Hit the Reactor Core Lockdown Override Switches (O1 and O2) to allow access into the reactor room.

10) Go to the reactor room and the two reactor core control rods will automatically be taken from your inventor and put in the drum (D). This will unlock the control room. You have about 20 minutes until it resets itself.

Note: This can only be done by one person per day. Once it is done, only that person can put control rods in the drum the rest of the day until the server resets. The only exception is if the server crashes and resets itself during the time between server resets.

11) Go to the control room (which is now unlocked) and download the final evidence

disk (Entry 1784,x4).

12) Exit the Warren and take the four evidence disks (experiments #1046,#1173, #1230, and Entry 1784) and the encryption key to the person named on the FOUO disk (or read the spoiler below).

Reward: 500 Imperial faction points

Warren badge

Spoiler: -* -* -* - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - SPOILER - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - *- *- *-

Take the four disks and the key to Captain Heff in Theed Palace.

Thanx so much for your help, guys. I search the forums often and I notice a lot of questions being asked by people who need help and see them getting slammed for being n00bs in return. It's nice to see some fellow players willing to share their knowledge with those willing and eager to learn. Remember we were all once upon a time n00bs ourselves, and granted they do have it a lot easier than we did, keeping them interested is what is gonna keep this game alive. Who wants to play or recommend a game where they are hazed just for being new. Sorry to get off subject...thanx for the help with the warren...I appreciate it very much.

Well said my friend. I feel exactly the same as you do. Come to TC and visit me sometime and we'll go tear something up.
