Why do I keep having my items and composite armor decay if I am insuring them? I insured on Doth last night, died about an hour later (evil force sensitive quest) and my armor still decayed. I made sure I insured on the same planet I died on too cause I though at first that is why it was doing it. I had the (i) next to my armor too showing that it was insured.

There is still decay on death, I believe it's 1 pecent instead of 5 if you hadn't insured for non GCW related deaths.
Now if you had engaged in GCW PVP or GCW PVE and die your items do not decay at all.

I think insurance just reduces the decay to 1%.. though anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong..

the only way to not get any decay is when you die in PvP

Ok that makes much more sense then. I never acutally looked at the decay rate. Thanks for the help everyone. I appreciate it.
