The phrase "You cannot lose any more of Janta faction standing." that I see in the picture Spatial log tells me that you have negative Janta faction and they will attack you on sight.

I don't know exactly at what point it happens, but if you're faction standing with a group of NPCs is negative {something}, they'll attack you on sight.
At -5000 faction, they'll DB you, even if they're not normally a DB mob.
On that note: anyone know how to raise Mauler faction?

or Nym faction? Lok has become a pain in the butt now that I get aggroed by everything there.

Hmph, then why was I attacked yesterday by Corsecs, even though I have +5000 faction with them? One followed me all the way to the starport entrance to attack me....

Nym faction can be raised by killing Hutt Expiditionary Force members on Yavin 4.
The way to see what to kill to gain faction for any group is to kill one member of the group you want to earn faction for. Read the spatial logs to see what faction you've gained for killing them then kill members of that gained faction to raise your other faction. I know I'm stating the obvious here but at least those who aren't sure will know now.

CorSec sometimes gets bugged... or there's a hidden TEF.
Also, you're always a 'yellow' mob to the other mobs. Even if you have a high faction with them, if you get caught in one of their area attacks, they'll aggro you. It occasionally happens to me at the Tusken/Jawa battlefield. I have +5000 Jawa faction.A Jawa will use strafe2 on a tusken and catch me in the cone... next thing I know, three or four Jawas are attacking me.

I prefer the policy of "so long as it doesn't give me a TEF it dies." Since it's rare to find anything in this world that spawns randomly and can kill me, it seems to work rather well.
