Somewhere the devs said there was an 80 player limit per area, I hope this is just old information though, don't listen to me

80 sounds really low

it must be old because we had two player events on Shadowfire recently where both exceeded 100 players, even previous events like the Fight Club have brought out close to 200 people in one spot.

I think some cross server stuff would be fun. I thought itwould be neat to have a server sponsor a battle between two other server's guilds. Sort of a neutral ground theory. Maybe even give them a week's notice to prepare. The host server would handle all the logistics and such.

i didnt really know where to put this thread. i posted this on the chilly boards a few days ago and it seems people really liked it but i wanted to see how other servers would feel.

ive been thinking that we have alot of events in SWG but not too many involving more than one server. then it hit me, why not giant space battles (JTL) involving players from more than one server? wouldnt it be fun to have servers duking it out?

since we all get a noob ship when JTL hits and is installed, wouldnt all of our existing chars get one? they cant tell the difference between alts and mains so most likely all would get one. so involving 3 servers (x,y,z) 2 could challenge each other (x and y) and have noob chars (made in advance to JTL so they would get a ship) on server z and have a good ol fashioned noob war.

ill probably edit this to polish but thats the basic idea. we have challenges and battlefields setup in advance and have chars made before JTL with their last name being their home server (IE Revolver Chilastra) and then after JTL comes out and we are all used to it we have some nice space battles. maybe evena dev or two would show up

hows everyone feel about this?
