My Merek Toxic Battlelord was a camera ......

I tamed a creature today and when I stored it and placed it in my inventory it showed up as a mystery box. It's just a box with 6 sides and questions marks, and something about it being a generic image. Has anyone ever encounter this before?

yes some of the Mantigrues showed up that way, don't worry still calls normally

happened to me with an ancient reptilian flier, like 7 or 8 months ago back when I was MCH, didn't get fixed yet apparently :/

That image is the generic image for any missing or broken image string. I've come across a couple of POIs that looked like that in the early months of the game.
Just be sure to /bug it and let the devs know. Apart from the odd image, everything should work correctly.

Yes, this is a bug from day one. All reptilian fliers and some mantrigues show up this way. Baz nitches show up as control units. It's not gamebreaking, but still so minor enough that it should have been fixed in a year. Then again, it affects CHs, not a class the Devs seem to want to acknowledge as existing in the game anymore...
I /bug it at least once a week, since I have an enraged reptilian flier in my datapad. Any time I go to call a pet and see that stupid mystery box I just shake my head...
