Does the inability to have hand or feet protection hurt us alot in PvP?

I could see someone landing a special on my hands, and having its full power incap me in one shot.

But I want to know if this is truly as big a handicap as I see it as.

I have been a tran for a year now, and have never had a problem with feet or hand hits. I can tank 5 Super Battle Droids in the Death Watch Bunker for quite a while without any major damage also.

And as far as trandoshans innate abilities, like unarmed bonuses, they really help a lot in grinding TK.

One other question.

We still do OK in ranged combat too right? Even though most of our bonus' are for unarmed, our meele def +10 still helps out?

Yah, i havent noticed the inablity to wear them is bad either, but i dont PvP much. plus it saves money when you gotta buy a "full" set of armor...

and how the heck... are the SBDs in DW easier than the corvette? how can u take on 5 at a time and not have any problems? do you have like 90% composite? or are you a jedi?

Combat Revamp, 8 months and counting...
Merchant Nerf... My vote for worst nerf ever...

lets see what other bad ideas i can post here...

Are my ideas that bad, that they never get commented on?

Yes, a trandoshan can do just as well in ranged combat. Having a bonus only for UA fighting doesn't affect your ranged combat abilities in any way.

I didn't say I could kill them.....I can just tank them for a long time for my group, and the SBD's in the DWBhave more HAM than the ones in the corvette, but a lot LESS attack dmg.

im not a trando, im a bothan. i pvp on a regular basis with no boots/pants/gloves, and i last a fairly long time usually. not many shots land in those areas in pvp. and if you are buffed, there is no way you can be 1 shot killed cuz of the pvp reduction, unless someone has a bad ass looted rifle.
