You know you are absolutely right... for 30 dollars more a month you should be able to get another... wait hold on what's this? You can own more then one star wars account? Another game will cost you how much? And then after that.... no way? ONLY 13 DOLLARS?! Omg and I was thinking 30, holy crap, ownage.

I always thought it was silly you had to buy a second game box for the second account. I mean I dont mind the money involved, but aside from the environmental waste of extra boxes and CDs I dont need, they probably lose a portion of the second account market by killing impulse buyers. After about a month into this game I convinced my self I needed a second account. I did this at least 3 times a week and always around the time I wanted more lots or to try something different. But since I am lazy the time between game and actually going to the game selling place quickly diminished my desire for a second account or at least my desire to get in my car, drive to a store, the whole time contemplating my decision to spend even more money on this game. If they had an option in the load up screen or somewhere on the webpage to just add account for $50, I would probably have 3 or 4 accounts now. So I guess for me it is good that they dont, but I never understood why they dont make it easier for themselves to make money.

First off Dev's I feel the Jedi quests idea is a very good idea. However I personally DO NOT want to have to go to the village and then unlock 6 branches then grind the xp for 24 blocks just to give them back up after I unlock my second character. Now with everything I have been reading it can take anywhere from minutes to months to get the old man to visit you in the first place and once that is done it takes you 6 weeks to unlock 6 skill branches to be able to fill 24 blocks then you have to grind xp to then fill those blocks. Once that then you get your second character this I feel is unfair. Now I am not saying give me a Jedi I have not unlocked before Pub 10 and won't the people who have should be given what has been promised them. If I was given my second character I would not go to the village I would play my character and someday if I decide to I still have to go through the same process everyone else does to become FS and then become a Jedi. Another reason to unlock our characters is what will happen when all of the Fighters and Crafters start to become Jedi the player economy will go through some very rough times as it adjusts to the new player base. Which will make it harder for non-Jedi or players who don't want to become Jedi's to find and buy the stuff they want. By giving us our second character we can turn them into crafters to provide the economy stuff to buy or turn them into fighters to buy the stuff others make. I feel I am not the only person to say they don't want to be a Jedi or be forced to do the quests to get a second character.

What you are asking for is them to change the character limit for the servers, not unlock a second toon. Only those who achieve a certain goal right now get a 2nd toon, what you are proposing is to give every single player a 2nd toon?

Not gonna happen.

Granted I know I am asking them to up the character limit on the server, but they are doing that anyways if you go through the FS quests. All I am asking them to do it give us the character without making us go through the quests if we don't want to. I am not asking them to up the limit to 3 characters only unlock it so we can have our second character now instead of spending at least 6 weeks of grinding to get it and then give up the FS blocks because we didn't want to be FS in the first place.

I wish that they'd have a program thing like they do now with character transfers, but for maybe like $30 you can get an second character slot on whichever galaxy you choose. They could have some rules that if you do the FS quests after buying another slot that you wont unlock a third slot, and if you already have a second slot (be the slot FS or not) you can not buy another on the same account.

It'd be a handy little feature and a way for SOE to make more money.
