i dont know what server your on, but the pirates is the last quests i need to do. here on eclipse he is also white and someone KD/Dizzied him and now he is white and not despawning. so now we have to wait for server restart

All thanks to some muppet or really sad griefer (im not saying they are a griefer, just that it is a possibility), the whole server has to wait untill reet tomorrow!

Normaly, when he first spawns, he is red and attackable, then when you wear his life down to about 1/3, he will turn white and will converse with you. He will then give you a mission, and stay in the world about 10 min. before he despawns.

Probably what you found is a Leader that someone else just talked to. Wait around a little while and another Leader should spawn in the same place. (He did for me).

thats what i figured when i first came upon him. However, he's been there for more than an hour and a half now.

Must be bugged. Try sending in a ticket. They should never take that long to despawn.

lol, it gets better. i tried sending a ticket, but when i did the search of the knowledge base it contiuosly searches... basically its got something "hung up" lol. my luck sucks

I had this problom before when some one els gets him white another one spawns up around 200m away so look around or get a ranger to help you they can see 400m around them threw there people search i had to get a ranger to help me

Lol I've had bad luck with that quest aswell. After about 3 hours of searching I found the leader and his guard. I shot him down to 1/3 and I talked to him. When back to the ranch talked to everyone, said the right things. As I was about to tell the wife that the pirates were trying to escape the game froze. 5 seconds later I saw an explosion and the wife was killed, with a message saying you've failed the quest please go back out to tatooine and find the pirates again. I was in shock. I msg'ed a csr but he said I was out of luck and I should start searching again.

check the other wps for a diffrent one, stuff usually respawns if u travel around 400m from it (as long as no one else is there)

So if hes not at any of the other wps, go back and who knows, he might be there red lol
