Hello all,
First time Im writing on these boards even though I've played since launch. I am in dire need of some assistance. I went to play on Naritus Server a couple days ago. When I connected to the server, I was OVERT! I did not notice because nothing was over my head and I had no TEF flag showing. I went to get buffed in front of Coronet Starport. Within a couple minutes, I was killed. When I cloned, same thing. I was still OVERT evidently because I went back to the Doctor I was in line for to get my buff and was killed. Yet again I cloned, and still Overt!! I have not signed on since. Has anyone had this happen to them or know a way to fix it?

sometimes you get scanned and forced to be overt, you'll need to find a recriuter to go back to being covert, but you still have to wait an hour of game time before you're listed as covert.

Thanx Duragoth. Weird thing is I've died twice so far. I always thought that once you are killed and clone, you revert back to the Covert status. Is this wrong? You're answer brings up one more question. How and when do you get scanned. I was under the impression that scanners are a Factional Item. I though I remember someone saying that they can scan in player cities. Whats the case with that?
