Friday Feature October 8th - Veteran Reward: SoroSuub Personal Luxury Yacht 3000
Does this mean that ship is going to be given to players who have been playingthe game for awhile? I started the game when it first came out and played it for 6 months then I quit and I just re-subscribed a few weeks ago....will I get it if it is given away?

No. You have to play for consecutive 6 months before joining JTL
to be counted "Veteran" and being able to receive the ship.

I believe you have to have been playing for 6 months straight prior to and up to the launch of JTL. So if JTL launches November 1 (hypothetically), you have to have been playing since at leastMay 1. They do have mechanisms in place to reward people who have missed a few days in between due to non-payment or something like that, but if you haven't subscribed since December or January, I don't think you'll qualify. Sorry.

Damit, they should have a cooler better ship avialiable to Elders. I was in the beta and I played for 6 months when it first came out. Do you know how hard it was back then? All the bugs we had to put up with, the dwindling economy with the lack of money. We didnt' thave any of these new fangled speeders back then, we WALKED for HOURS.....sometimes we had to walk half the way out of the way to avoid a massive spawn of aggro'd creatures in a line and there was no way to run past them without getting killed. We had to run back to where we died and get all our stuff back and maybe get killed again by whatever killed us the first time. We didn't have any of theses buffs to help us. We fought like men and ran like cowards. They should give me something for coming back after all this time.... I want free stuff too

You can always preorder JTL and get a nice free Naboo Landspeeder.
( actually something I was very angry about. I dont want to go
"into space", so I would get _nothing_)
Or you can cancel, wait for a 2-3 month and be invited back for
a free month to test the new features... or... or..
It seems the priority is not to keep customer, but to lure ex
back into the game or get new. But if you are a customer... you
get .nothing.

Green Droids:
Make a new char and he will have one.
You will even get firworks, 3 time use speeder and other
stuff for free if you do the tasks the droids urges you
to do.

To start a new character on the same server your guy is on,
you will need a second account. Then of course you can
start your new char, do all the tasks (around 10 hours)
and then give the free stuff do your guy with the vendor
and do it all again and again...
So:
No. For an established player / character the free stuff is
not worthwhile. It is for new players. Or new charakter on another
server (but even then you would be able to get money quicker
with doing delivery missions or go killing stuff)
And the droid is not tradeable.

I've been playing this game since the end of December. I didn't get the painting this summer, and if I don't get this ship, I'll throw this game into the wall. Hard.
