Thread: Nervous anticipation

After I finally was able to log in last evening, I completed 4, 5, and 6 of the search and destroy missions from the "Village". I dont buff, and had serious doubts whether I'd be able to succeed on mission 6 with all the red con Sith Pirates. I did take food, drink, and pixie to aid me.
This puts me on a self imposed time limit to get them all because of spice downer. Needless to say, when I had completed the mission, and barely at that, I returned to village in poor condition. One hit from anything would have killed me. At that time I see some guy say "Missions 7 and 8 get harder !". WHAT ! I barely made it through 6. But it was definitly fun. The danger and excitement in the middle of nowhere on that hostile planet.
Hopefully, I can complete 7 & 8 tonight /crossesFingers . My insurance is paid, my food and drink are served, and my spice is at the ready. 
Yea tho I walk through the Valley of the "Sith Shadows" of death...........

There are different types of Sith in the last 2 missions that use advanced strafe, I doubt you can do it unbuffed...

Thanks for the heads-up. I guess as a novice TK 0/2/4/3, buffs are going to be a "Must". It's sad that SOE is forcing us to go this way. Guess I've had my decision made for me on which profession to do after I master TK. It will be Master Doctor. I was leaning towards doc anyway after the hour and a half of poisen I endured last night. But I understand that meditate will help there too.

Of course, the alternative is to bring some friends. RIght now, the village usually isn't that populated by players, so they may be harder to find.
I'd recommend getting some buffs, the missions aren't too hard after that.
Oh, another tip...if you can't find friends, and you can't get a buff, get the Sith to aggro you and then run to a nearby heard of non-aggro animals. What happens is that the Sith tend to throw area effect grenades. Those will affect the non-aggressive critters, which will attack the Sith. They won't likely beat the Sith, but it'll even the odds while you take 'em down one or two at a time.
