My question is what's up with the clothing/armor attachments that have no visible skill modifiers (i.e. they are just labeled as clothing/armor attachments when you examine them)? I heard a rumor that they might give skill bonuses to Jedi, who can see them. However, that rumor didn't seem very convincing to me. Kinda like a rumor started by somebody who had a lot of those and wanted to sell them rather than destroy them. Their "title" also shows up in white rather than yellow like the others. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

i was talking to a jedi a few weeks ago about this very subject.

he heard that same rumor months back, and had been saving those skill tapes until he unlocked his jedi. when he unlocked, he was sad to find out that the dozen or so clothing tapes he had, still had no skill modifiers on them. they are completely worthless, and i would say either use them for decorations, or destroy them.
