Is there a chance that wookiees would get a version of their language that only they can understand ala twi lek lekku? Weren't there very few people in the movies that could understand it, Han being on of them?

If you want to go into the EU, there are many dialects of Wook-Speak, some that only Wookiees knew. And yes, very few people knew Shryyiwook, Han being one of them, but it wasn't that Wookiees didn't let people learn it.

Would be nifty, rather they fix the bugs first.

In the expanded universe there is an obsureWookiee dialect called Xaczik. It is a dialectfrom an island area of Kashyyyk. Unlike Shyriiwook, Xaczik is not understood by off-worlders. So, Wookiee slaves started using this language to communicate among themselves.

In my RP stuff I contend that only Kashyyyk-born Wookiees and the slave population are familiar with Xaczik. After the slave trade started, more Wookiees on Kashyyyk made a point of learning and using this language as a means to undermine the Empire.

Yes, i would rather them fix bugs, but couldnt they just copy paste lekku code to wookiee species and change the name? Just an idea.

The species languages just seems like a great idea that never really took off.
