There is an npc for each mission, who sends you on a quest to visit three locations. At these locations you search a crate, bookshelf etc. and recieve an item, and you need the correct one. It can be at any of the three places, and is random always. You return it to the npc for travel authorisation.

Then, you go to the specific travel place and fly up to space; you are then on the corvette. Based on the mission you took, there are three different main objectives and other things you must complete in order to do this. You can take a maximum of 10 people up there (including yourself). You can call pets up there, cannot buff, cannot burst run etc.

Is it hard? Depends on what you define hard as; 'Oh no SBD's I have no chance, better go make a post and whine', or 'SBD's, hmm. A challenge, how to work around this.. '

There is an excellent guide on this forum currently sinking to page 2 or 3 which will tell you everything you need to know in greater detail.
