anyone know? its kinda lame we can only get 1 of the 2 badges

Well that's the freedom of choice. I was able to do it, granted now I am now exempt from getting the Kerritamba Arena Champion Badge. Little things like this help define your character in the context of the galaxy. Your decisions have an impact. So make those decisions wisely.

You *can* get both Kerritamba Arena Champion and Outcast society badges with your toon... if you know how it's done.

how i got all three badges:


first i did the arena, let him live, got the arena champs badge.


then i did the bloodhunters missions


then i went into the arenawith another player that let the champion live. after she spoke to him, i spoke to him, but i did not let him live.


so since i killed him, i was able to do the outcast missions. i was not able to do the redemption quests for the chimes though.

I have heard it's possible too. I could verify if I wasn't stuck in a damned loop with the chieftan.

I've got all three badges (Arena Champ, Blood Hunter and Exemplar)but only because of some recent changes they made..


I originally went in to the area with another person, I did not have the mission. As a matter of fact I never did a single mission out of the village before that. While in there, I conversed with the wook and let him live.


The Chief gave me a Champion Sword and the Arena Champion badge then refused to say another word to me. Meaning I couldn't actually do any of the prior quest or get any of the rewards. Later they said they did something to update him or fix it so you could reset, I tried talking to him again and he was just meditating.


A few days ago I went back to the village and checked, the Chief still won't talk to me but the Elder would now. So I did his mission and got the Blood Hunter badge.


After I finished those missions I was talking to a friend that planned on letting the champ live, so I went in with him and killed him. The Outcasts then let me do their missions.


While I'm sure me going in and killing the guy after letting him live once was un-intended by SOE, destroying my chances of doing the prior quests from the chief and forfiting all of the rewards wasn't intended by me either. So at least I got something out of the deal, all three badges.


I'm assuming if you finish the village and then go back in with someone else you could kill the champ again, similar to what happened to me.


Without an "official" word from SOE as to wether this is a bug or is intended, I can't say if it's an "exploit" or not and I can't tell if I'm violating the EULA by posting this or not. Wish they'd learn to talk to their customers.

Yeah, I can confirm that doing both paths is possible. I worked through the missions from the chief, did the arena challenge, and let the champ live for the arena champion badge. Then, I did the missions from the villagers for the furniture, and the missions from the elder for the blood hunter badge. After this, I went into the arena with a guildmate,theylet the champ live, I killed him, did the outcast missions for the exemplar badge. Only oddities are that the chief does not give the redemption missions, and all of the mission-givers seem to like me, both kerritamba and outcast.
