Some quests did not give out the badge - some did. I thought they fixed that this patch, but I guess not.

i think they are supposed to give badges but alas i did 2 and that was marksman and brawler and i only got a badge for marksman i think

What badge did you both get? What did it say?

something about unveiling the mystery of mos eisley and the tusken zealots

WEll, so far I've only done the brawler & artisan, and I have the Mystery of Mos Eisley badge.

So, I did the brawler quest, and got a badge for that. Then I started the artisan one, made the set of survey tools, got my 2000 Cr, and then nothing. He says check back later, he might have more work (which is what the brawler quester said, IIRC). I went and talked to the Mayor again, and he just wants to talk about skills again. Do all the quests give badges, or just some of them.

Is it going to mess up if I try to do a quest w/o having the novice skill at least? If the marksman quest is anything like the brawler I'm pretty sure I can do it with one arm tied behind my back (CL 56), but I'm not too sure about the scout, medic, or entertainers.

where do you start the quests?

I did all five sets of quests and got two badges. Then you explain tothe mayorwhat you have found, and it sounds like the third badge, but I didn't get anything andhejust sends you away and there is nothing more.

The badge you get is the same regardless of which profession you follow... hence you only get it the first time you complete a mission. The benefit of doing the others is

a) some credits.
b) some content (some of those NPC conversations are hilarious).
c) some easy XP to get you started in another profession.

Still bugged. I just finished them last night. Last two badges are AWOL.

Not all of the prof quests give badges. You will need at least 15 skill points free for picking up the novice prof's for the entertainer, artisan, and scout quests if you don't already have them. Each novice skill can be dropped after completing the associated quests. The brawler and marksman just require killing by any method.

I just completed all the quests the mayor gives you and only got the 2 badges. Is everyone still having this problem?

I haven't got the finding out that jabbas responsible for planting the harvestors and the key to the city badges but i've seen people with them on my server.
