Hopefully this is the correct forum in that I'm just missing something and it is not that I have a bugged character.

Returned to SWG after being absent over a year - thanks those that have helped

Used the respec feature yesterday (PRE PUB 21) to become MCH (and MBH if that matters). Tried yesterday to tame anything that said tameable on examination (durni, butterfly, kusak) but kept getting the message "you can't tame that". I tried it with and without armor on (the armor changes are new to me so I figured why not), masked and unmasked, and after reloading.

A forum search didn't find anyone having the same problem, but made me aware of today's publish. I'm back online today and tried again - same thing.

Any help? As a MCH I should tame what I've tried easily

tbh you are more likely to get a clear and quick answer in the creature handler forums. which is a way for me to say i would like to help but have no idea.

you can only tame babies. Such as rancor(baby) or something like that

There is a bug (dunno if it was addressed in Pub21) where you would get that error even on a baby that was well within your capability to tame.

It's still occurring (although I can't say whether or not it's happening less often after pub 21). I got "you are unable to tame that" a couple of times with baby Fanned Rawls (CL 8, non-aggro) as a Novice CH last night. Maybe it's buggy baby code (it displays as a baby, but the game thinks it's an adult), or maybe something to do with server boundaries (I think I was in the general area of the boundary around Kaadara) leading to a synch problem between different servers.
