From what I understand, there are 4 force professions, 4 branches each. I need to unlock 6 branches of the possible 16 branches to reach Jedi Initiate but I can only do 1 branch per phase anda phase is 3 weeks. As of right now, I have talked to the Captain and I have done his first set of patrol's to unlock the Combat Prowess - Ranged Accuracy. With that open, what happens at the end of the phase if I dont complete the branch? What if i only make it halfway up the branch when the phase ends? Do I have to wait til the phase with that branch rolls around again? Or is the branch that I've unlocked, permanently unlocked and I can get skills in that branch whenever I want from now on? I have a feeling I'm not going to be able to finish this branch this phase and I would like to take my time as I'm not to worried about becoming a Jedi Initiate as fast as I can. I just dont want to have to wait til the phase rolls around again so I'll have to do it all over.
Thanks in advance.

You don't need to complete the branch before the end of phase 1. The phases are just to unlock the branches.
Does anyone know what (if) there is a FS xp cap? Not that I will hit it anytime soon...

Each phase is simply to unlock it. After that, you have as long as you want to fill the boxes.

Ok, so they are permanently unlocked once I do the quests for that branch. That is a huge relief. I was afraid I'd have to ask for several days off from work so I could do nothing but grind for combat experience so I dont miss out on my branch. Though I might do it anyway!
Thank you.
From what I've seen so far, no one has found a Force XP cap. There is a HUGE jedi guide floating around here somewhere and its updated almost daily on stuff like that and so far, there is nothing about a cap.

Probably the requirements are so high already, that when someone is ready to level they level asap and don't ever grind enough to cap, heh.

Yeah, I am going to have to agree with you on this. Its probably that everyone is using the exp they can earn that they have no reason to save at the moment. Besides, we have only been through one phase so far, I wouldn't expect to start seeing people hitting caps on exp until maybe Phase 2 or 3. By then people will be completing branches and converting for future branches.

Well, if you were lucky enough to get a free unlock as a result of hologrinding, then Paemos would have given you enough xp to train a Novice box plus four boxes in a branch, which is...
Novice: 50k
Level 1: 175k
Level 2: 250k
Level 3: 350k
Level 4: 450k
Total: 1.275 million
So the cap is at least this high, meaning that you can do a quest, train the branch that this unlocks and have enough FS xp ready to train the next branch once the Village phase changes. I have also heard that some people are on 3+ million FS xp, but haven't seen a screenshot of this

I was told by CSR answering my Ticket that you cannot have more than 24 FS skills, and six branches. This makes it crucial that you plan your path accordingly by using an out of game spoiler site. It's piss poor Quest Reward design, but thats SoE for you.

I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me. I completed 2 holocrons for certain before the publish 10. I came to the village and didnt find anything about gettin credit for the holos. I completed the medical quest for the village. Now I was told and realize that the Rodian force xp converter had a tab that allowed me to access it to get credit for the holos, but now its no longer available. Could someone possibly help me? thanks
