Thunderheart... we all know that you typically try to avoid flames and rants, but some of us posted some very valid points in this thread and I think they deserve some kind of official statement, like "We heard you and are discussing it to see how we can give you your answers" or "Sorry guys but this will have to do for now, we understand you wanted more but that is all we could do for your class this time around. We'll work with your correspondant to get you the answers."
Anything but silence, please.

I've since sent TH a PM apology. I'm sure his inbox is flooded with other more pertainent issues since then, but wanted to offer whatever olive branch I could, just to decrease the gas-flow on that flame jet. Decrease, mind you. This whole thing still bothers me, but becoming a dev-stalker is not what I had in mind to get a response to the issue. I said my piece, and I've backed off from it a little twice now. Maybe I'm a wuss and a detriment to the community afterall for THAT, who knows. The rate at which we see responses from red names tends to breed passive-aggressiveness. Someone finally 'has it up to here', can't take it anymore without venting their spleens on the boards, and ... then what? I think in circles about this one. Are we being *actively* ignored because we're angry? Are we being actively ignored because we're bio-engineers? Are TH's and the rest of the devs plates just entirely too full to bother with responding? (meaning any response would just feed the 'issue' in their minds) Are their plates just entirely too full TO respond? (meaning they literally don't have the time).
Well, we know the last one isn't completely true, and that's what leaves the bad aftertaste for some of us on this thread. I've said it before, I don't envy the devs their jobs. I don't think you could pay me enough to deal with the people on the boards if I had just a handful of co-workers as message-sifters and backup. The us-against-them mentality doesn't breed communication, and that brings us back to square one...
I like to write, and no, I don't do it just to 'hear myself talk'. I'd like to think that most of the time I'm putting together a complete train of thought, not just a string of sentence fragments. Something to think about and reply to. And I don't mind being told I'm wrong if there's a little teaching involved. The difference between 'you are wrong' and 'you are wrong, here is why...'. The latter goes a lot further than the former. Of course neither are happening in this thread, we're just getting static and preaching to the choir in the meantime. I'd suggest the devs post this sort of announcement to the Announcements board, and lock the thread if they're not going to be bothered to look into and respond to the replies it generates.
Opinionated? Of course, we all are. Just kinda waiting for the devs to tell me toshut the heck upin so many words, because the cold-shoulder just isn't doing it for me.

/bump for old times' sake. Yep, its a nearly year-old necro, but I can't seem to recall any of these fine replies being given any of the attention they so richly deserved from upon high. Just something to think about as the BE's get churned through the CU. Once they're done with combat, they're gonna look at all the rest of us, right? They DID say that, right? Right? ....
