I am as of now just surging.
These are the badges I have and I should theoreticly be "glowing".
I have all POI badges, All themepark badges (omit rebel), Hero badge, imp corvette destroy, Jabba corvette destroy.
I have over 75 badges, over 45 POI badges which gives me the Master explorer and the 75 Badge collector badge.
16 prof badges, 17 actual prof completed.
3 cries of allderan badges
TH, anyone, I sure could use a hint on what to do...
Other than just running in circles I don't know what else to do to become glowing, or even in the game.... I feel I have done everything and there is nothing left to do.
P.S. I am not going rebel, before anyone suggests that.

based on what people are reporting here, it is starting to look to me like the comments in the original post about the content badges must be incomplete. lots of people have reported becoming glowy without ever visiting the corvette, but has anybody gotten glowy without doing the warren? it doesn't look like it. you say you haven't done the warren. I'd suggest that.

Yes i do know people who got glowy after just 1 warren badge , and myself whitout the corvette and based on this guide got glowie after i did the nym.

here are the badges needed to glow
1. jedi ruins-dantoine
2. warren 2badges -dantoine
3. ben kenobi's house-tatoine
4. jabba's palace themepark-tatoine
5. waterfalls-naboo theed
6. temple of exar kun-yavin 4
7. nym's themepark-lok
8. imp or rebel themepark
it worked for me fine...all u have to do are these badges only!!!!!!

On patch day I did a /che and got a
"you feel a strong sense of the force"
I had:
all POIs
Rebel Theme Park
Jabbas Theme Park
Nym's Theme Park
Mark of intellect
Mark of Altruism
Mark of Courage
14 Profession Badges (including 4 holo)
So on patch day i did the following:
Project Dead-eye
Warren: compassion
and there was no change whatsoever.
The only thing left for me to do is one of the corvette badges (which sucks)
I can't do the other warren badge since I am rebel. (not that i didnt try)
The marks apparently count for nothing.
Has anyone noticed a change after finishing the entire hero of tatooine quest?
I also manually checked and i do have all the jedi and difficult POI badges.
So i guess I'll keep at the vette till i get that inner glow. Sucks since i know people that didnt have to do the vette.
All of these people are imperials that did both warren badges. So from what i can see its easier for imperials to get the inner glow. Please correct me if im wrong.

Me and all of my friends have used this guide. And it worked perfectly. Thanks for the great info... and to anyone that is having a problem, I can almost guarantee you missed something. Go thru your list of badges and make sure you have all that is listed on the first post! One of my friends missed one of the jedi POI, the jedi temple ruins.. and that was all it was. Good luck.. and have fun waiting on the old man

I can't do the other warren badge since I am rebel. (not that i didnt try)
I am a rebel. And since I really did try it, I know that you CAN complete the warren (both badges). And seriously guys, check your badges. I am almost positive that you simply missed something!

When If u don't got reb or imp themepark yet, your glow should be faint I think.
When I did the rebel themepark Igot thesurge, I can imagine coz it was long lol.
I went over the POI's again what I was missing, and I really thought I had everything.
Seems I missed Kenobi's hut.
For the plp that almost have everything or think they got everything, plz recheck your location
POI's again. The Content badges shouldn't be a problem that's pretty solid.

I know this is a radical idea and all in an MMORPG, but if you don't have the friends right now that can help you do the 'vette, make more friends. Hang around the quest giver of a 'vette mission you want to finish or the ticket taker for the 'vette of your preferred roleplaying faction, and talk to the people who approach the NPC. Many groups go to the corvette undermanned for the maximum group size (thats 10 players). Just volunteer your services a few times and you are sure to meet a group needing your skills (even if you sacrifice your Master Tailor/Merchant/Artisan as cannon fodder so the combat guys don't have to take as much damage.).

I can confirm this method also. 2 of us used it, and it worked perfectly.Both of uswent from "faint" to "glowing" immediately upon completing (Rebel for him and Nym's for me)Theme Park (our 3rd theme parks)
Glitches/tips (most noted previously, but it's ones I personally encountered)
- POI's that I know I had found were not listed on my found list. Even if you think you have all the POI's quadruple-check.
- I went directly from faint to glowing completing Theme Parks. So there is a bug in the progression notation... or... maybe they did it on purpose.
- 2 methods if you want Jabba faction points, you cango kill Borvo on Naboo or hang around Jabba's palace, and mop up from the abandoned Jabba missions, or the ones where the key kill was sniped without killing the bodyguards.
- Badges: Rebel, Jabba, Nym, both Warren (note, I didiWarrenas a rebel with -5000 Imp faction)

Now... I have been searching the boards, and found nothing on this: Is there ANY way to encourage the Old Man to show up? I have been standing around (not in a city or PC) for a very long time. Is there anything that keeps him from showing up?

I can now officially confirm this method does work and has worked for 10 of me and my guildies of the 10 i was the only one who seemed to have been bitten by the no progression bug (no sense faint sense strong sense etc). I didn't do any of the badges until Tuesday. By the time i had ground out all but the themeparks i was getting worried as one of my other friends was in the same boat as i was and he was already at strong. i stuck with it however and did every one of the badges that are in the guaranteed method and last night i finally got glowy. So don't feel discouraged if you're not seeing progression as there is some sort of bug with some characters that you just jump from faint to Glow. Good luck and may the GLOW BE WITH YOU!!

So once again ppl that are pure crafters get screwed again? Since I have not a 1 combat skill I can't complete and of the themeparks and get content badges.
Also when I would get a visit by the old man I have to kill those sith guys? Well looks like that isn't going to happen either

Ok heres how I started out...
At publish 10 I had 5 easy POI, no other badges (ie no prof) and when I ran check I got
"you barely feel something different about yourself"
I started out on the reb theme park but since it is very long I visited the three jedi POI during that time and with only 5 POI and 3 jedi temple I got surging, so it seems the 3 jedi temples weigh alot
"You are surging with the force"
Since during reb theme park I got about 5 more POI I realized I had my 10 so I went and got 2 difficult POI and hoped I could go for 10 badges where 3 was temple and one diff but it made no difference.
So that one doesnt work and I guess to get there there is one more must have except jedi temples, I will finish my master and reb theme park and see how it goes

So can anyone answer me this? If you are a rebel with -5000 imperial faction, can you still do the Imperial themepark and get the 2 Warren badges. Apparently being a rebel limits your ability on getting these badges, although I have heard people saying it doesn't. Can I get some confirmation on this?
