Is it possible they nerfed the missions because people were charging outrageous prices for this stuff? Bantha Statues for 10k and I've seen teh Grunda paingings going for 16k. And for what? They're rediculously easy to get *if* you know where to get them. Problem was, most people selling them didn't want to tell you, so they could keep making the money.

Although a few nice people would sometimes help you out.

Of course now that people can no longer get these bantha statues and gruunda paintings, that just made the ones that *are* in character's hands that much more valuable. Hmmm... better get a burglar alarm for my house now....

One thing I do like though is that now you can get some neat statues for your house that I've had my eye on. Ask your friendly local architect for pricing and designs.

I, too, found this nerf most disheartening. It does indeed seem that those in charge are dead set on removing all the actual fun from the game, doesn't it?

To me, it is the epitome, the perfect illustration, as to what's wrong with SWG at this time, and what happens when you let programmers do design and vice versa, and when the customer is cut out of the process. Folks are designers and programmers for a reason. I wouldn't let my accountant decorate my house; nor would I allow my interior designer to handle my finances. How something this clueless could happen for such an appallingly bad reason is so far beyond me I'm having problems even just understanding the situation at all.

However, the good news is that they're rolling back the nerf...although they're inexplicably waiting for the vehicle update to do so. The link above goes to Thunderheart's entertaining post on this very interesting thread. So there is a wee bit of light at the end of the tunnel...

Guys...you can still do these quests normally, even in their nerfed version. Get a droid and store the items in the droid.

It is a shame to nerf these quests, as stated some people like to hunt for krayt items, I liked to hunt for quest items, yes I did sell them and the people that bought them were grateful, they didnt want to take the time to do the quests, they wanted to hunt holocrons and other stuff they felt was important to them, but still wanted items to decorate their homes, so I don't feel i was hurting anyone, I took time to obtaine the items, I priced them fairly (bantha statues I charge 2500cr)and didn't force anyone to buy one. I am not a melee class, i am a merchant, I die alot on some of these quests but earned each and every piece I have to sell, why nerf it, why take the fun from a merchant, who were we hurting, isn't this what the game was designed for, each class suppling somethign another class couldnt get or didnt want to do? Most of the people that bought from me sent tells thanking me and asking if I planned to get this or that item as well. I say give us back the quests as they were and add more dang it.... *grins*

Oh and if people ask me how to get an item, i give them detailed instructions, I am not hiding or trying to cheat people, i am doign what my professions is all about MERCHANT, obtaining and selling items!

Looks like a blue TFT monitor, protrait-style, on a light brown stand. Found on the corpse of a 'Chunker Goon', in the Chunker Base halfway between the top-right city and the Imp Outpost, on Talus. It's probably one of the 'junk' items, but looks quite nice, so I'm keeping it

(Don't have co-ords to hand, but some of you must have found their little underground base place, surely? )

I can't think of anything that hasn't been listed. Oh and there are a few spots on Naboo that have random loot spawns I got a slave collar from one but don't have coords on hand.

can anyone tell me where to get the exotic bird cage?

not too sure, I think there are player crafted statues now, maybe it is one of them??

I was just in a shop on Corellia and someone had in it just as a decoration a statue called The Keeper Of Souls. It is a really cool nik nak to have any idea where to get one or start the quest for one?????
