Pex posted this.

The race droid is definately there. They did not spawn at the server reset because we placed them individually. This only occurs on the first day. Enjoy!

Hmm today on Intrepid the Espa record was 444.0 seconds. Has anyone else seen it this fast? at leat 10 people were there trying to bet it tonight but no one could get lower than 550 seconds. Exploit? or is uber strategy needed?

It depends on the server you are on , cause there are more houses , extractors on some servers. 444 is impossible , it must be a jedi with force run 3 or a bug.
On kauri i hold the record with 534 and it s impossible to get under 530 ( considering all the houses and extractors since the start is in a player city )

Swoops and AV-21's are faster than Jedi using Force Run 3, from what I hear, and can easily get the better times on either race course.

I cannot, for the life of me, get under 320.0 on the Argliat Swamp course with my AV-21! I ran it all day, to no avail. The current best time is 314.0. If I can't inch lower than 320.0, I have no idea how I can best that. How did you speed-racers do it? I have a pretty high-end computer with everything but distance related options on low/off. */sigh* I actually find the large body of the AV-21 to be a bit "distracting", in a way. Perhaps I should try swooping it...

- It's time the devs end the bitter fighting by giving the community a Non Jedi server. We have a few servers with TINY populations that could be changed to this ruleset. I support this idea because it punishes noone. - You can support it too. Click Here!

Absolutely not, 444.0 is undeniably impossible. From what I've been able to piece together, under 520.0 should be a very tough challenge, and I don't think anyone can get under 510.0. Anything under 510.0, I'll say, let alone 444.0, can't be done. My best is 528.0, but there are a few houses and other obstructions in the path that could add a few seconds, plus I'm sure it's possible to cut a few more seconds off that time.

just wondering if a swamp race time of 276.0 is possible using an AV21? That's the daily record for today. That's about 40 secs faster than what I can do. Just wondering.

on espa i had 540 on a swoop, and that was after 5 trys. sadly, the record for the day was 498. damn people with av21s ruining it for everyone with a swoop.

i forgot to say, the second time i raced it i went over the hills on an angle. i experimented with it each time, and it seemed faster sometimes. staying on the track seemed best on the shorter legs of the race, and if it was longer i started going on the hill at an angel early in the leg.

Both 276 on Agrilat and 498 on Espa are ridiculous times that simply can't be achieved without some kind of cheating, probably speedhacks or another cheap third party program. I wouldn't blame AV-21 users for this at all, as on either course, a good swoop racer can beat someone on an AV-21 any day, since the larger AV-21 is only about 6 seconds better on Agrilat and maybe 10 on Mos Espa.

Earlier today, I signed on to my character on Ahazi which I left by the Espa Race Coordinator and found the best time to be a 464 by BlackPawn, which was bullcrap enough. I went on a few moments ago to see if justice had been served miraculously and that time was discarded, only to find the time at 420-something by Chickenwings.

Something really needs to be done about this kind of crap, some of the same people that are ruining things now at Mos Espa did the exact same at the Agrilat Swamp Track, and I'm starting to get really sick of it.

Well, I just signed back on to check the swamp race times and now it's 254.0 by Chickenwings. That's just unbelievable! Especially when people are saying that 276.0 couldn't be done without a speedhack. I dunno...I guess I'll just try tomorrow. Oh..and by the way, I have ran the race with both a swoop and an AV21.

Finally beat the Mos Espa time on Kauri.

Got 532 seconds to beat the time of 534 seconds.

nice! was that on a swoop? and did you always go over the hills, or stay in the canyon track?
