The last guy, Vartonis, is a level 110 jedi. He hits hard, so be sure to use the crystal. Also, being buffed up and full of food and drink is a good idea. The first time I tried this, I lost. AI ran out and I had negative health (I even used my health buff crystal from the village)right before I defeated him for the first time. I've read that people had trouble with the health buff crystal running out so this second time I ran to the cronies who spawned after defeating Vartonis the first time. Quickly rid of them, they're easy. When Vartonis is attackable again, armor break him and put on your most damaging moves. He seems to go down faster the second time.

I looted the lava skiff deed and a mystical orb. The other person I was with looted a damage stim pack and the lava skiff deed.

My comments on the last part.

First attempt: Got Lord Vadonis from 45K health down to 3K health, but he got me first. Checking the logs, he didn't miss one shot on me, so the pikata pie I took was useless.

Second attempt: Decided to use more Synsteak, and use the Armor break holocorn, as he used AB twice on me the first time. Managed to kill him with 5K health remaining on me. Then killed his 4 goons not too fast while healing a bit. Then the Lord came back, decided to use Avoid incap, and that did the trick. Just had time to loot him (a holocron and a lava skiff), then I incapped myself forgetting to heal while AI worn off. Mission failed.... And then Obi-Wan respawn... and I have now to restart from part 1 of the trials. Must be buggy.

Anyway, got a lava skiff already, pitty it's no trade, could have got many like that

1st try: MSwordsman/Mfencer/2xxxdoc/novice tka- Used spice tea,luris mushroom pie,air cake, and muob gold. Took final boss to half health and ran out of mind. Used kd on himit took him 10sec to get up. I died. He hit me from 1k to 8.5k .

In game names Lorlargeb or -Lor- though I like to have winings dropped off on one of my vendors as it is hit and miss on getting me in game.

I looted the lave skiff deed and also a CA with poison resist 24 + 2handed lighsaber accurcay 15 from Voltaris

So it seems an additional lootitem drops from him. Not sure if that is a random drop or not...

I didnt realize that Obi-Wan gives you a crystal in your "inventory"?!? I knew about the crystal hanging in the alter that buffs you up to 94k health. My 2nd attempt at killing him I used the Alter Crystaljust before the first bout with the DJM and beat him easily. I neverwent below 75% health.

Is this true?Does ObiWan place a 160k buff crystal in your inventory to use on top of the 94k buff Alter Crystal? Not that I needed it, but this would be great to know for non-jedi alts to complete this quest.

I can't figure out the stupid stickie thing.

i know this was really spacey and stupid on my part but i looted a sith holocron and the lava skiff from the sith after fighting him 9 times to beat him.. and obi wan kept saying destory the crystal and it confused me and i thought the sith holocron was what he wanted me to destroy and i thought that if you left you would get the betray badge but you have to do something to the crystal in the stand. duh obvious but whatever you do make you sure you do it bc if you dont do anything to the crystal you have to start fate of the galaxy all over again.

Just finished it and it was easy. I am MLS/MDef/Healer 4004 and i've had no problems. Needed only 20% of my force and had 30K health left when he died. Unfortunately the second loot was heavy duty leather

Sorry not a shard - one quest on mustafar gives a SITH HOLOCRON - that looks exactly like the usualy ones except this one grants an immunity to armor break.
