Thread: Pics of Jedi & active lighsaber for those interested
Personally I wish all the whiney people would just quit and go back to EQ and DAoC, or sleep in front of their computer dreaming about the perfect Horizons launch. Here's my take on it.
Back when EQ came out if was buggy and crowded as hell. You payed uber plat for crap items and it took forever to get to the point that you were good. As it progressed the prices gradually dropped, until near the end people were just dropping very nice items for others to pick up. By this time you had 1-2 characters around level 50-60. Everything worthwhile needed a huge guild to raid it. These raids would take hours to put together and complete, leaving you with no life if you wanted to keep up in the game. And guess what?! By the time you hit 60 and later 65 many of your friends were burnt out on the game and quit. So all for what? To get uber and leave. Of course, the new frogs were at level 65 in not time with all the twinks and powerlevelling.
Personally I'm tired of the co-dependance. This game is like starting in the 3rd chapter of a book. It's buggy as hell, but we're playing it now. If you think what this guy did was easy, then think again. Compare the experience with how the game works (when it is working) and the amount of time per day put in to levelling. True some people can only play for a few hours a day while others can play for 20, but that's the way with any game. I even know some couples who have two boxed entertainers, taking turns on the sleeping.
Grats on a great job! I wouldn't want my private chats being read either. I love CHs and wish people would stop whining about them like a bunch of school kids fighting over a swing on the playground. Oh, and very cute names for your rancors! It reminds me of Hagrid's pets. =) Jedi are human and their skill levels vary. You CAN solo reds as my master artisan (marksman and scout) has done. With expert pistol skill and a scout blaster I can solo a shaupaut. I even took two close together although when a third one added I got killed (stat bar wasn't going down although my health was). Still not bad for an artisan wearing a frock. I also love having minimal downtime. You can always be doing something in the game, and that appeals to a lot of people who couldn't take the downtime in EQ (looking for a group, waiting for sow on a corpse run, watching the warrior health bar slowly climb while playing gems when no healers were around, watching the mana bar slowly climb while no enchanters were around, and having to look at those sucky graphics). Yea, a lot will be tweeked and fixed during the course of this game, but there is no need to jump on someone's case for sharing some cool pics with you and showing you what you can also do.
The only two bugs that I can't take are when you go to check a harvester and it takes 5 mins to appear, and the loss of xp. (Lost one full block that I had already been trained in the previous day). Sorry for the rambling. Okay, not really! Just wish the servers were up!
I never "leaked" out information, I just stated was could be plainly seen in the screenhots and the reasons for me not responding are quite simple.
1) This thread has been moved to a new forum so my bookmark was gone and I forgot about it.
2) I also sleep, which may come as a surprise to some people.
3) I don't spend all my time on these boards.
This was NO LONER CH taking out a Dark Jedi or 3, check the upper right of this screen, its a group of 4 players probably 2-3 CH's as there are at least 3 Pets in link2/pic1.

I wouldn't get my panties in a wad over this, the only thing I envy him(them) on is having seen one. Other than that this is just a group getting a chance encounter and having the #'s to handle it.........unless there is some type of "hack" going on.........it doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary..........including the invalid boasting of taking THREE DJ's down loner......ha!!!

You guys keep complaining that someone able to kill a Jedi is against the SWG reality. However, the SWG universe during this time did NOT contain many Jedi, good or bad!!! Also, not all Jedi are Uber, some are, and some aren't.
Now, if he killed Vader then I could see why you are upset, but he killed some no-name Dark Jedi's that really shouldnt even exist.

shut up about the CH being too strong. this guy is a MASTER CH and should be able to take on and maybe even kill a jedi. and...all 3 of his rancors died anyhow.
secondly, are you a pistoleer or what? if youre not a master pistoleer, im gonna complain about you being able to kill her (with 90% blaster resistance) with your pistol. THAT is where the problem lies in this confrontation. not anywhere else.

gonna make this short and sweet-1. i dont believe he exploited, but as some1 mentioned above, it does sorta look like its trapped in a valley, even then its not his fault, the npc didnt use no force powers, it didnt force choke him(tho ive only seen DJMs force choke so i might be mistaken) and it didnt force pull him and cut him up with saber, so blame it on the devs but kudos to you holymight and also

thats only sith lords, there can only be 2 sith lords at a time,master and apprentice,palpatine-maul,palpatine-dooku,empereor-vader.

Between all the posts here and the grinding in the game, how do you have time for anything but SWG?
