Neat, can't wait for a Smuggler one.
Only wish they where boarded in gold like the Veteran icons are.

Ahh bugger, I just sawy the ship icon and a big, gold "A" and thought it was a badge for Ace Pilots. Ill have to change it now

Thanks for the new icons. But.... I'm a little disappointed with the Droid Engineer icon. I'm having trouble figuring out what the icon is supposed to be. Is it an R2 or R3 facing to the left where an MSE droid is sitting? Its hard to tell what it is supposed to be compared to the other understandable profession icons.

Hey Garva is there any way to add a small tooltip when you hover the mouse over someones avicon that tells you which avicon it is? The new icons are great, but in my opinion they are a little ineffective if the average forum user doesen't know what it is just by glancing at it. Let's face it, there's around 33 regular professions and that's a lot for a casual forum user to memorize lol. The only way to identify what profession icon it is other than memorizing them all is to either check this post and match them up or go into the icon directory under My Profile and check the URL to each of them in the status bar.
Some kind of tooltip or other way to easily identify the profession icon would be great. Thanks.

You can right click on the picture and select properties to get the name of the image.

Yes, and that's similar to the status bar method I listed above, however that still doesen't help the casual forum user as most people don't think of that kind of thing unless they're already comfortable with computers. A simple tooltip style pop up when you hover the mouse over the icon that tells you what profession it's for would be nice. Any kind of way to easily recognize which icon it is without having to either memorize the picture or guess what it is based on the symbols would probably help quite a few people and make the icons have more meaning.
It's just a suggestion.
