From what I have heard, they are really rare and really good for Jedi's. Other than that, I know nothing.

As he said. All Junk.
I Have had one in my inventory since August. It did nothing. I had to gring to profession 29 to unlock. They are all Junk.
This also goes for Ancient Artifacts, Padawan braids, Mystical Orbs, and the Mighty Melon!

dont know if this was mentioned yet, but it was rumored that these "force amplifiction" crystals could be either used in something, or carried...to increase jedi ability to regenerate force power,( ie force pool points). Well that was the rumor I heard at least. so far from everyone I've spoken with, they do nothing yet. *shrugs*
More house decorations I suppose.

what the hell does a force amplification crystal do.I killed a dark jedi master and knight on a quest for the dam thing,got nothing as reward except this on the masters body

my freind says it attracted jedi's(more than usual) on dantooine though,and on dath I seem to be attracting strong creatures(more than usual)?

I agree, it attracts more than its fair share of Force related NPC's when you have it in your inventory.
