I play on Lowca and I was awarded the Fascinating Background Badge on Saturday. There was no one right around me when the badge announcement appeared, so either it was given at the starport & took a few minutes to process through, ora 'ticket' for it was put in some time earlier & it just processed through then.

it would be nice if they did random events during the late afternoon early evening, for those of us that actually work or go to school during the day. the game would be so much more interesting if they hired 1 person like Pex for each server to come upwith random events.

I don't know if it happened on all servers, but about a montha ago on Chilastra there was a Tusken invasion of Bestine. I wasn't there, but according to rumor, the overhead map was a sea of red arrows. Every player in Bestine was given a Live Event Accolade badge.
That is the only Accolade badge I have seen given out in my time in the game, although I have seen a couple people walking around with a badge for having an exceptional biography, but those badges may have been from long ago.

Id volunteer to be a random event coordinator/creator person. I think it would be fun. If the devs dont have time, find some players who would be willing.

I don't actually know when I got awarded my Good Samaritan Badge asI only realised when someone asked me about it. With 145 badges it was well hidden took me awhile to spot it lol.
But it is my favourite badge of all just wish it could be at the top or bottom of my badge list so it is easier to see

Hrm. I hang out with a relatively large group of Imperial roleplayers, all of which have extremely well-written, intriguing and extensive profiles, and not a single one of us has the Fascinating Background badge.
I'd love to see more of the Accolade badges around, it's a shame they're practically non-existant now.

err... We still get these on Chilastra, maybe the CSRs for your server are lazy.
Aye. I've gotten 2 different accolade badges on 2 different characters on Chilastra. (Tribute to profession, Soldier of war on both characters)
