Wow @ the difference that Center-of-Being makes now. I've been using it constantly but never really took notice of the difference it makes, check this out.

I haven't been rooted in a while but it dtill not breaking on hit? Is it not suppsoed to? I mean, I thought it was asuppsoed to break on hit, as of last time I was rooted it seemed like an I win button since you're stuck for the duration of the battle.

This has happened to me for tka, and bounty hunter skills

If this is happening to you all the time with this many professions, then you are either being interrupted by being attacked or you are moving. Some special abilities will break and have to be restarted while others will get just a delay.








THe rifleman abilities are really bad, but I have seen problems with all abilities on times.

Ex power boost. There are times when power boost will fail 3 or 4 times before I get it to stick. Now, since the power requires you to be medding to work I am pretty sure I am not being attacked or moving while I use it.

Generally I can get power boost to work in 1-2 tries when hunting on endor, but when I go to a laggy planet like Dantooine (bria) I get the error beep and a failure 5 or 6 times. Last night I jsut got sick of trying and gave up after a while.

Rifleman timer specials though, especially sniper shot almost always fail. I had about a 10 min period where they worked hunting on endor last night and was havign agreat time, then they stopped again.

It is offered in each of the Brawler skill trees so allmelee players use the skill without having to pursue additional non-related skill trees .



Every melee player must pursue additional non-related skill trees anyway. The devs saw to that!




My tip would be that if you're looking to master two brawler professions as your primary combat abilities, consider getting Master Brawler as well. It will only cost you an additional 20 points after pre-reqs (you need 3 Brawler lines to open 2 elite brawler professions) and you gain some more defense, a bunch more general accuracy, some more general speed and a bunch more unarmed damage (assuming you took Teras Kasi, this bonus is very nice). You'll still have 47 more points, allowing you to get Scout 2000 (terrain negotiation) as well as Novice Medic and 12 points worth of Medic skills!

I love CoB now. If I want to tank I have to be really strategic with it and stay on the defense. This is great though, since as a TKM that is my role in combat.

If you pick up the Fencer Flurry attack, you can get even more defensive bonuses during combat. Flurry attack gives a short defense bonus, and it STACKS with CoB.

TKM/Master Swords/Pikes 0440 <--- Loving this template! Defense up the arse and enough goodies in my offensive arsenal to keep it exciting.

Did you know that if you target a cloner that is not working and type /clone your data will store?


I have seen posts on this daily that many are not working, this will work until they get it fixed.

This doesn't explain why some abilities are blocked out, sometimes using the lesser ability DOES have an advantage TH. Why not let the combat be a little more varied?
