wel my guide has a part about defence stacking . but to answor your question shortly .; no you wont .. counterattack only works with carbine and swordsman certificated weapons , dodge only works with pistoleer and fencer certificated weapons . block only with pikeman and rofleman certificated weapons .. status defences from al templates will stack say for instance TKM 20 def Vs dizzy + 15 from a little swordsman and 20 from fencer will give you a total of 55 .and that wil always be that high .. same goes for ranged and melee defences .. but remember all skill sare soft caped at 125 .. if you have 150 ranged defence . wel gratz but it wont help anymore then 125 .. the only way you will get skill higher is with SEA's they can add up to 25 in a certain skill and then the SEA bonus is capped .. so if you have 30 in sea dodge .. only 25 aplies .. so the highes you can get a skill is 125 in raw skill and then adding 25 with Sea's to 150 total .. thats the hardcap .. nothign goes over that .. wel you can go higher but it will do nothing . ive tested it riguresly .; anyways i hope this answors your question


and just FYI i stoped playing a moth ago .. the PvP guide was my goodbye presend for other people .. i got fed up with how soe is wasting a good game with lots of potential all for the sake of those damm Jedi ''luke'' wanabee's .. i hope all you jedi's burn in HELL !!!!

the guide is really good! But atm PvP is really a little hard. Delay in armour and weapon changing will hurt you much. Once the enemy know what ARMOR you are using, he will change to a weapon wich detours the protection. From stun to kin e.g. or other way around.

Changing to the armor who has the protection against the weapon of the enemy will be quiet painfull!


What do you suggest?

You did a very good job of covering everythgin thats not CM/Doc related, except the fact thats the 125 cap to Melee/Ranged Defence; Dodge/Counterattack/Block Includes AA's and CA's, these will not bump you over the cap. Squad Leader bonuses and food are the only thigns that will allow you to go over 125.


That said, where is your discussion of Combat Medics???


Im not trying to be mean but Combat Medics define PvP now. How can you have a PVP guide that doesnt go into depth about CM's and then Doc's? A complete guide would have to include how poisons and diseses work, how ranges work, AoE's work, Ticks, ect... and how Doctors can cure them. You also need to include havla as the most powerful PvP food there is.


You mentioned that you use Meditate to take care of poison and disease, but this doesnt work in battle. One thigns CM's love to do is hit you with their poison/diseaese, and kite you. Untill you kill them you wont be techically out of battle to be able to meditate and in less than a minute you willbe down to1 mind. Also if you are stunned/dizzied/on fire you cnanot meditate. If you get hit with one of these states you have to let them clear before you cna meditate. You probobly know this but CM's usually have a combat class in addition to their own. Its nto so simple as gettign to them nad beating on them before your min runs out, often they are rifleman and using that hit you as well.

wow you the man katchiko! great guide. i would like to know however if a fencer/swordsman/brawler (all master) combo would work (w nov med).

also, i would like to see a PVE guide sometime cos ido like the occasional krayt hunt now and then..not too shabby.
