whooped him. 3rd try.


first: ran out of action and wasted time healing myself and ran out of crystal buff.

second: thought i 'had' crystal buff...nope

third: PWNED!


roots don't work. but my one hint is KD KD KD KD!!! and spam specials when he is down. i was hittin for about 3k a pop when he was knocked down. and you can wait in the little castle if you lose to wait your hour. if you stay in the back of it you won't aggro the mobs.

shard of retalition does not work, I wrote a thread on it. This crystal is bull, if it's working as intended then I made a very big mistake.

I have tried 7 times to kill this SOB and I did manage to beat him the first time, second time came around and he killed me. I am a TKM/M. Pikemanwith 4040 Medic.


I am using blob candy, mandalorian wine, crispic, pikatta pie, neutran pixie, synsteak, the offense shard, COB, and the sith holocron. I am using my knuckles of the katarn which is pup, and still have not been able to complete this.



I am so angry with this quest. I think killing him 1 time is enough!! What were the devs smoking when they thought this up - jeez.

Well then I must just be a badass... cause we have similar templates (I have swordsman instead of Pikeman) and the only difference I see is my 4xxx Doctor, however with the massive health buff heals were relatively useless, so I didn't use them...

Ok I killed him but I was on a booster downer and avoid incap. I looted his body but the AI dropped so my ham was a negative value= Incap. I got the skiff but no badge lol. And im able to redo it again!

Hum well i did that lord vartonis 7 time in all (but i finally got him to choke in his blood !!! ) and hum i'm master rifle master doc. With food the final time i got him by being almost on him and he was missing all his shot (maybe i was pretty lucky) so i got him down with a bit more then half my health and still teh crystal buff on me. I got time to heal about 20k while killing the borther mercenary and he came back with 3 quarter of health. Guess i was pretty lucky cause i did the same trick of being real near him (almost on him) and he miss about half the time.


What bother me is the loot i got from is body. I got the lava skiff and something called a mysterious orb (I'm not a jedi but the one i ask saind he couldn,t tune nor use) so what is that orb and what can we do to know what it is...?

The more I hear the more I think this guy must be Energy Resistant. As a TKM using Knuckles of the Katarn, I completely owned this guy. I went below 75% health during the first fight, barely. I then healed myself up to about 80% and killed him the second time w/o going below 75% again. I used full foods for my template (Blob Candy/Spiced Tea/Bofa Tread/Crsipic/Pikkata Pie/Vegaparsine/Booster Blue and the Offensive Wild Force Shard) as well as Center of Being. I cycled my three high damage specials (w/ speed capped this does far more damage than cycling two) plus armor break and knocked him down every 31 seconds. I'd like to hear results from other TKs to see if maybe I just got lucky. (Or maybe I just kick ass )

The second crystal trick does not work. im still trying to complete this quest by folowign your guide. at it on the 10th try and still no second use on crsytal... update the guide please

I am MLS / MDEF / 3000 healer / 0002 Enhancer


I cannot use Force Aura (Modifies Defense by 500 points) along with that buff from the Health Crystal. If I was able to useAura the dmg he is dealing me would be signifigantly less.


Do you know if this is "Working as Intended" or if this is a bug?

My loot was the lava skiff, damage stimpack, and retaliation crystal. And I did not betray him.
