Better tip for moving furniture:
Make 4 macros:
/echo /move forward
/echo /move back
/echo /rotate left
/echo /rotate right
place these in a tool bar and then just add the number you require once the text has been echoed to your command line.

a little coding error on moving furniture:
the radial menu rotate left/right is backwards from the command line /rotate left/right

I've actually always wondered why it is Left and Right for the rotation in SWG.
You rotate things anti/counter-clockwise and clockwise...

Also, when placing items on a wall, its best to have them stand off from the wall by 5 spaces or so. The reason is that a lot of items will tend to disappear or shimmer as you walk through the house due to redrawing and adjustments to your position.
So, after you have placed stuff on a wall, walk around your house and be sure it does not disappear or shimmer in/out of view as you walk around. Especially test walking towards and away from the items.
Vertical alignment is not usually affected by this "shimmer", just the horizontal.
Also be sure not to accidentally push something into a wall and then lose focus on it(un-target it). You'll never be able to target it again if its behind a wall, and the only way to get it back is to pull all items from the house to the terminal with the terminal command to retrieve lost houseitems. Thus, you start decorating all over again.
I would love to see the ability to rotate items in the missing direction. Not sure if that a z-rotation or what you would call it. But for instance, if you drop a weapon on the ground, some of them stand upright (like polearms, most melee weapons, spraystick, and heavy weapons) and some of them lay down flat (like pistols, carbines, and most rifles). So it would be really nice to be able to adjust that angle and make your displays consistent. Also, for creative decorating, it would be really nice to take box-shaped items like armoirs and shelves and tip them over a bit or lean them over to create more interesting final shapes. Same for using tailored items. Even if you could just flip stuff upside down, it would be a great help. Granted, some items don't have color on all their planes, like shelves and paintings which you can see through from the back or bottom, but we'll live with that if you just allow us to rotate stuff.
