Nah... Im female, the twilek (gave it away before i had a house stupidly)
My RL husband did it and got the Advertisment, but another male friend did it and got the Twi'lek, so its not gender based.

The painting from Sean Treadwell is pretty easy.
Hit himup at the Bestine City Hall and he send you to a static NPC scientist barely outside of Bestine. Talk to scientist then search the nearby wreckage for a terminal. Examine the terminal then talk to the scientist again. She sends you back to Sean who sends you to a guy just past the cantina to destroy the data you found. When you return to treadwell he gives you the painting of the upside down sunrise. The whole thing can be done in minutes and is probably only 2500m of travel total.
