Hi there,

In most online games, i like to try and work in my IRC/general 'net Nickname so that all my friends dont feel stupid calling me something else Theyd only end up calling me 'whits' or 'whitus' anyway!

So I've been travelling around as the Wookiee 'Whityyk' for a while. But im planning on making a new character very soon.

Im planning on a Twilek male, more biased to combat and PvP than crafting. Initially neutral, i may get more involved in the GCW (ideally Imperial....if i can cope with x3 modifier). i will take up a few other skills though such as a few elite craft boxes and some musicianship for parties. I plan on calling my character:

Whit Anexus

which is a jiggling of my nick 'whitus' and my old UO charcter 'Xena' =)

Well I saw the popularity of this thread and decided to throw my charactor's name into the fray.

This name was intended as more of a Slicer Handle before they killed the Slicing Profession and then subsequently destroyed Slicing by allowing people to alter weapons and armor with it.

I play on several different servers as several different species. My current main is a Zabrak on Kettemoor.

LOL! Happily married seven years, two kids, full time career teaching kids, and about a dozen hobbies that occupy my time. I sleep about five hours a night, which gives me ample time to type this thread, research my hobby of the month, play with my kids, study language, play ROTW:ET and SWG, hope to get hired by LucasArts or SOE, hike, write, love, dream.

My life is quite full, thank you. Perhaps you are concerned about your own?

Duran Duran was great. Barbarella wasn't. But Duran is fine for a name, but just barely. And I mean that. That is a close cultural reference, my friend. Osmol will do fine, though on a lark I looked it up...you should too...hehe.

Eesla Kral

Looks like a fine name, Lark Alsee (hehe couldn't resist).Sound is good.

Zweedo

I wouldn't say the name is unoriginal, more derivative, which isn't always bad. I think, with a little work, we could make this into a fine name: Zlweedo, Zsweedo, really go for the gusto there!

Pawnbroker

Please say you got this name from The "Annals of the Black Company" series by Glen Cook? Eh, probably not, but at any rate, it's a nickname, it's a little risky, and in this case I would shy away from it, but your mileage may vary.

Drave Covor

Got that familiar yet unfamiliar thing going...probably because you disguised a name there. Dave Grover? Not sure, but in this case it looks good.

Omo Ohe

Well, you would be a disgraced Bothan, cast out from your people, with that name. This may be a good thing considering your profession. I have some ideas what it may mean, but I'll let you tell me.

Well, I'm not in love with the name, but you should take it a step further: it's a nickname, and it means something, like "Deadly" in Zabrak or Sullustan or something. Maybe you murdered an entire noblefamily while their guards slept or something. This is a chance to REALLY be creative, to save your name. Otherwise, it won't work.

Sur Namoo

It may feel fitting, but it's well, well, you know what it is. I think you should consider another option. It's funny, but not immersive Star Wars.

Another Wookiee nickname, I would suggest, short for Bebliwwacca or some such.

Zonjai Nezba

Lots of "z" names lately. Well, it's a good name, especially for a Rodian, as compared to say, a human.

Lolannia Ahavasi

Well, an apostrophe is essential to be ethnic Twi'lek. I would place it thus: Lolannia Aha'vasi. Otherwise, good name. Looks like you are saying LOL Ahazi to me though.

I was born right when personal computers became popular. I grew up with Eliza, you could say. Many an afternoon with my friends making her say ridiculous things/

Daunte DelFuego

Hmm, pretty ethnically centered outside of Star Wars. DelFuego may be a poor choice with that construction, but Dalfego may feel a little better. I like 'Daunte', but with DelFuego it leaves Star Wars too much.

Ravenhawk Mauler

Well, no doubts about what this guys spends time doing. As names which are nicknames go, I feel perhaps this one should be toned down a bit. You are expending a lot of effort in the name to make yourself sound gloriously capable. A good choice would be to pick one of those names, and another more common name: Mauler Jines, Ravenhawk Smath, Senji the Mauler, etc.
