Oh no! Near death now left it for a little too long, hardly any water and nutrients left in it......how often do I have to check this i wonder? Don't spend that much time near my house...

Yeah, um... when it gets to near death there is basically no hope for it. That's what mine was when I posted that message just a little bit up the page. I changed the water level to moist and the nutrient level to above normal following a tip saying it wanted a light mix to get going. A friend on my server said she heard it took BE nutrients as well but they don't, I tried it. So I logged off last night after leaving the plant at that, logged on today and it was gone from the hospital in which I placed it. I had an email in my inbox from a guildie saying he was in the med center and he watched it die.

So it vanishes when it dies? That sucks. Good bye quest reward

At the moment I have my plant at:

Health: Full of life
Growth: Above normal

I always kept the water level at below normal.
I set nutrients to above normal but that resulted in a slow growth rate. Then I tried below normal and it wilted. When I changed it to high it resulted in above normal growth.
Now I am trying very high nutrient level.

Yep, it completely vanished from my hospital. Was sitting on top of a table and it was just gone the next day. Since I highly doubt Thunderheart reads posts like this, I think I have a notion to send him a private message to see if he can do anything about getting this fixed, maybe give those who lost it back and create some sort of special nutrient you can give the plant to restore its life to what it was when you first got the plant from Sivarra. I am just *really* bummed that I spent extra time getting this reward only to find out that nobody really knows for sure how to treat it properly and that it only takes about 2 days for it to die and vanish for good.

Have you attempted to go back to silvarra and see if you can get another?

Yep, I went back to the village to help a friend do the quest. I talked to Sivarra and she said something about me already exceeding what has been expected of me and that I should take a rest. I talked to the surgical droid and it said only authorized personnel may access its functions.

That really sucks we do extra work, we have to bring resources with us (Combat people ride their bike around a bit) and we get a reward that dies oh the joy

But do they get two rewards? I feel like I should have waited before taking this quest to see how to take care of the plant.

Water determines: Health

Neutrient determines: Growth speed.

I agree on this.

My plant Health was Fair with Wilted Growth Rate.

I set Water to Wet and Nutrient to Normal.

Now, Health is Good again and Growth Rate is Very Slow.
