here is a tip for you TH;
I know your not the one that makes the rulesor programs this stuff but listen up you are going to loose alot of people and mainly the lot that unlocked Jedi between the pubs with the words you will get your jedi when pub 10 comes out. If you didn't notice it is out and they are all very mad, mad to the point they are ready to give up and leave SWG and get away from SOE. They should not have to do anything with these quests aside fom what other jedi had to do before them. They paid there dues and to change the rules mid stream is wrong and will lead SWG down the drain, but I've noticed you guys are good at that.

Is it really necessary to hijack threads? Feel free to post in the Jedi threads about this subject. I may even join you. Feel free to start your own threads about it, I may even join you there. But pleaset stop making it difficult for others to benefit from these tips by filling them with your complaints about the current situation.

Real Tip:
Place the icon of your bike in your toolbar and you have instant recall and storing(if in a city) Write a /F11, /tar speeder, /mount, /dismount macro and you are all set.
easier,
make a single macro with the following:
/mount; /mount X34; /mount Speederbike
there's no need to target your speederbike.

A valid question has been brought up that no one has really answered yet...
The majority of crafting professions do NOT utilize an AVERAGE of resource stats, but rather a ratio of 66% / 33%...so I'm really not understanding how this feature is useful at all above a comical level to any profession other than armorsmith, which does use a true average (50% OQ / 50% SR).
If anyone can explain how all profs can find this useful please do. Thanks.

I've enjoyed the Hero of Tatooine quests. I find my targets every time I look for them. Try hiring a ranger. We're looking for things to do.

Here's a tip for the design team - if you add new content - ppl should be able to access it the day it goes live. They shouldn't have to wait around for the traffic in the new content to die down. Its my complaint with the race tracks and its my complaint with the village. Don't gate players from experiencing content.
Here's a second tip for the road - Don't make new content that is actually more time sink than content. *cough hero of tatooine cough*

Here's a couple good tips that a lot of people may know... but I'd like to sharethem because there seems to not be many tips on "Tuesday's Tips" right now...
- You can board a shuttle from the actual place that you buy your ticket (minus Theed***). Simply buy your ticket;type "/board trans"; hit enter; then click the destination you wish to travel to and click ok... and *poof*... you are gone and loading onto the next planet.
Come in very handy for not missing shuttles that are already there when I load in.
***The minus Theed part. You can't do "/board trans" from the Theed ticket booth, but if you buy your ticket, and then walk right back out front of the starport you can use "/board trans" from there. Doesn't matter too much for Theed because you don't risk missing a shuttle, but can save you a little bit of a run time. - You can bind keys to custom macros you make. For example, I have a macro that I use that clears my combat queue and then heals me. That way, if I'm spamming a special at someone in PVP and I need to heal myself, it will clear my queue so that I can heal myself very fast. Simply create your macro the way you normally create them and then set your custom binds in the keyboard settings.
- Everytime you load or port anywhere, your PSG is "broken." It's a bug in the game right now, so if you want your PSG to work, make sure you take it off and put it back on.
- If you are out in the middle of no where and you need to find the closest basic trainer (ie, scout, brawler, medic...) or mission terminal, the "/find" command is great. For example, if I was looking for a brawler trainer, I would type "/find trainer:brawler" and it would mark a waypoint on my map to the closest one. If I was looking for a mission terminal, I would type "/find terminal:mission".
- If you are in a high traffic area and you are trying to find someone, the "/target" command does wonders. Lets say my buddy Skorr was in theed and I needed to find him... I would type "/target skorr" and it would box him.... and you don't even have to type the full name, you can type "/target sko" and it would target the closest thing that had the first 3 letters "sko".
- I have a tab that I have labeled "Non-spatial". In that tab, I have pretty much everything except local chat. It works wonders for when you are in Cnet or Theed and you can't see your groupchat or guildchat passed all the spam. I'm the type of person that doesn't really like to ignore people so I simply just switch to a different tab when I'm in these areas so I don't have to see it on my screen. This is probably the thing I couldn't live the most without!
That's all I have... kinda basic stuff, but really stuff I use on a daily basis that I don't think I could live without. I hope it helped someone. ![]()
