Now I understand what's wrong with the game.
None of you can read.
A PLAYER puts together something that could be useful to you, and this is the reaction.
You all suck. Hard. Hear that? For crying out loud -- do you treat the players you play in-game with that harshly?
I sincerely hope the next time you NEED an architect, your local one tells you to bugger off.

People are upset because they don't want player made stuff - we can get that anytime. What we want is information that only the devs can provide. Some of the FFs in the past have blown peoples' socks off. Is it too much to ask for that again?
Exactlly... when people want to know this stuff in the future... they are going to head strait for the Arc boards and could have learned it all without reading this. Seriouslly we need Q back... now he could do a good FF.

There isn't a great place to put this sort of post, so the Friday Feature seemed an approprtiate one.To all the team working on SWG:THANK YOUIn the time since publish 19 was released we have seen a significant increase in communication from the team, and as I have been asking for this for a while I feel honour bound to say cheers.Specifically:Blixtev, a number of very frank and honest posts that have really helped us help you;JFreeman (congrats on new role btw), the getting on the same page project and for signing a petition;Jo-Don, for breaking double figures on your post count;Tiggs, for putting on an event in your own time, and just for being the Tiggs;TH, for a great Tuesday Tip;Chrysalide, for coming onto TC to work with us on the entertainer change testing;Seani, Vrixx and the other QA for being of more value to this game than most people know;To all the 'quiet' devs for working behind the scenes (or working with the Correspondents).I've criticised in the past but am glad to have seen the increase in communication which I'm sure will help improve the quality of this game, keep it up
The devs you pointed out have indeed increased the communication... Makes you wonder where GreenMarine's been since dropping the slicing travesty on us, eh?
You have GOT to be kidding me! Guess I should no longer look forward to the Friday Features. What a major drag!

Have you even SEEN the dev-tracker lately?!?! They are NOT posting except for patch notes and these features. Customer interaction is at an all time low.
There have been a FEW posts... but they have not covered major problems/concerns/issues at all. The Devs better have something huge up their sleevs.... becuase they have been too quiet too long. And I dont want to hear "They are busy working". BS! It takes 2 minuts to make a post... and Tiggs and TH should be posting a lot being the PR team and all.

I'd like to see Astromech Stats about professions... now THAT would be interesting!

Hey this guide was posted 6 months ago, I can't see why anyone likes this FF. I can see it know there going to put the FAQ of each of the Professions in as it own FF.
They should makes these posts on a regular basis... but not as FF. If it was to help the players they could do one for every profession all at once. But noooooo they have to use these as their way out of posting USEFUL information.

I was going to point out that very same thing. Posting an excellent player guide to a profession IS NOT a Friday Feature. I have to agree with the posters who have said that any info a player wants(And if they are reading this forum, they know about the profession boards..moot point) could be garnered from the respective profession boards. Do we need a copy/paste of some players hard work as a Dev Friday Feature?
No, to the trolls, this is not meant as a slight to the player who created this guide. It is pointing out the pi$$ poor communication we have been seeing. It's amazing how one or two extra posts after three publishes of utter silence seems like a glut of communication, hmm?

While I prefer Friday Features on new, exciting, perhaps to-be-released stuff, I guess some helpful guides can be good. But of all the professions...Architect? This is a profession that has not changed since launch, and has not been needed in any serious way since just a few months after launch. Houses, factories, and harvestors - their main products - do not decay, therefore once you have these things you don't need an Architect again.
Architect has a lot of potential. Houses should be upgradable, ie. we all start with a small and through time, money, resources and the skills of an Architect, we can upgrade it to become bigger.
Uh Thunderheart and Tiggs have nothing to do with coding... they are here for Community Relations.... there time is BEST SPENT communicating useful information to the Community! Their PRIORITY should be communicating with us! A Friday Feature that basically cuts and pastes a FAQ from a profession forum??? Yeah I know... they answered that before... the last time they did this very same thing... it's for the people that don't visit the Profession Forums... LAME

Now i don't know about all of you complainers out there, but personally i'd much rather the Devs spend time making new content, and fixing bugs than coming up with a Friday Feature that will wow and astound everyone.
Publish 20 that's coming up soon has quite a few bug fixes, especially things like Trapping XP bugs, the P-Dart bug fix, and fixing the Commandos' AoE attacks.
So TH, thanks for helping to keep priorities straight, and working on improving the game, instead of satisfying people's desire for some bright shiny new Friday Feature.
Give us some fun charts from the astromech stats
