Hmm... I was hoping Part 2 would be a guide for Rebels

Well the devs have to release combat info and JTL info real soon now. Just have to wait another few days....

Good job with the FF though TH at least it helps the newb merchants. /shrug

Be thankful with what you got...etc, etc

Bunch abrown nosers

Get a life.

Right, so thanking the people who work hard to make this game possible and people from the community who spend their own time working hard to help other players is brown nosing now? I call it being appreciative. But that's something that many of the posters on these boards know nothing about.

You don't have to be an ass to have a life. Putting people down really accomplishes a lot, now, doesn't it? Maybe it makes you feel better about yourself, but these boards are not the place to deal with your inadequacy issues.

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

Decent friday feature lots of info atleast. But lets just clarify here...

You didn't fix vendors, you didn't do anything but put limits on them.

You fixed Merchant, and tied the vendor limits to the professions, and fixed all the other things in merchant tied to vendors, so good job on that.

Please fix vendors, they have horrible sorting issues and I am sure other issues too. Just from Weaponsmith I know that there are sort options that will never contain anything because they are either listed somewhere else or the item is impossible to create. Also sorting just sucks yes alphabetical per 100 is fine if everyone knows that is the case but they don't so they don't even try the next page. Lastly things that are sorted in the wrong place is just plane stupidity, and means the code for sorting that weapon is wrong and CAN'T be that hard to fix, specifics that I have found are the gaderiffi baton and stun batons are both under melee weapons while they are melee weapons all other 1h weapons are stored under the 1h category. Thanks, that is all I have to say for now.

I was hoping for JUICY JTL INFO! Another "kreetle hunting guide".

wow, u one staring brown nosers need to gal, this is old info. it was posted in the merchant forum 3 months ago.

if the new users are too dumb to look in the professions forum for this info then maybe they should go back to watching tv or summat.

most of us wait for the friday feature for new info not stuff thats 3 months old.

I want to see more JTL info.

I guess they are drip feeding it out as they realise that the game doesnt have much to add in way of new content, so want to take their time releasing what little info they do have.

unlike the wow devs who show alot more respect for their players.

Actually that guide was updated on Wednesday..and the notes at the end of it were added on Friday and as far as I know have never been published publically anywhere.

How accurate is it?

"Vendors who go too long without being used will get deleted from the game. The only events that constitute use are placing a new item for sale on the vendor, or a customer buying an item from the vendor."

Funny. I just got the "Your vendor has been unused for quite some time. We're gonna delete it." warning message. I've definitely "put items up for sale" in the past two weeks. What's interesting is that many of them went up temporarily for storage purposes, and were then withdrawn.

I can't *prove* anything yet (in a panic, I took everything valuable off the vendor and dropped yet another factory for storage), but I'd like to see if anyone else has had similarly-questionable problems with vendors.

(Mini-rant: Auto-map-deregistration good. Auto-deletion utterly and irredeemably evil.)

Excellent guide Doc, been a merchant for a while and some of those numbers were unknown to me. Thanks for taking the time to compile it all.

SWG is a lot like the Nicotrol System.

With each patch, you're that much closer to quitting.

There are definitely some questions about how that works and some concerns that its broken somehow. We have several threads about the issue in the merchant forum and are compiling information about any oddities we find with the system.

I personally agree that it is a bad idea to remove vendors with items and maintenance still in them. I don't think it is necessary or fun.

I didn't find this very useful to be honest. There are a scant few nuggets of good info, but some of the things you'd most want to know are missing (like info on exactlywhat the criteria is for vendors being deleted by the system, or waypoints to merchant trainers) and much of what info is there (for example what vendors are available at what levels of merchant) are presented in such a way that you'll have to read through many paragraphs just to extract that info (I suggest using tables next time).

Ok, Maybe I over looked something but I need some help targeting a specific vendor.

The /target Vendor; isn't selecting the vendor I want to select. I had to rename my Vendor with something that started with the letter A before it would select it. I'm assuming it's based off the Alphabet. I have't been able to use the one like for targeting players (i.e./target <name vendor> for some reason it does nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
