We need more QFE's on this, Forget the new weapons, something like this was promised and needs to be fulfilled. its not about balance or how well it is, make it a 1/1 damage weapon, Hell just make it a display for all that cares. You say your going to honor a players death with something in game to symbolize them for their dedication to the game then do it, hell rename something thats in there already, nobody cares about the name thats on it now if its because of her. Its been almost a year now, Dont let it go by without the devs doing anything they said they would.

Hmm, like a sword within a display case with an examinable plaque (all one item) that could be placed within a building or outside within a city?


Don't mind me, I'm just brainstorming... but I do remember TH's post about Raphayl, was right after I started playing.

I am truely impressed. I now have a reason to finish out Carbineer on my alt. Whatever they did to get results is working very very nicely. The continued small looks at what the CU will have does alot to bring the excitement up. Awesome work all the way around. I am looking forward to seeing this going live very very muchly.



As for the tribute blade, It is possible that they didn't put every weapon included in the CU up on the web. They didn't put all the ships on the web when JTL was coming out. Just a little support for the Devs who are showing us that they can breathe life back into the game.


Though if I am wrong, I will be among those who are miffed, for sure.

Yeah, its kind of sad that it went this long though without it happening, Hell i even forgot about it untill N'Jessi's post, i'm as guilty as anyone. i just wish that it didn't take all this time for us to remember what happend, The new people and some of the not so new people might not have been around for this, but when it happend there was a thread in every galaxy board linking to that post.

We have a launcher pistol.... who is to say that the proton carbine and proton rifle certs do not go into commando? We have proton grenades and the proton carb and riflesure sound like heavy weapons to me.


In anycase at least, they didn't list the certs so there is hope at least that these could be assault rifles we have asked for


I agree with Rancor though... would like to see what profession gets each...where it falls in the trees I don't care about as much.

They still haven't released all the weapons and Cal said that in the original post, so there will be more to come!

All weapons and armors are being completely rebalanced in the CURB so that everything will have its own uses so there isn't a "best" weapon for every situation. Part of how its being done was in the Armor docs.

Calandryll, I think I remember a posting some time after Fan Fest where someone attending stated that he talked to one of the designers and it had been decided to make Raphayl into an NPC (pending Lucasarts approval) instead. Or was it TH who said that? I don't really know any more...
