oke all IMP who have jedi ship ..plase look at you left side of wing and you see one strange shape slot ..ewry rebel can tell you what is that, to put droids there ...now rebels cant get IMP ship (JEDIship )..thancan tell some onewhay is there that slot for decoration or we have some problem's about jedi ship and relationship about no matter if imp, rebel, dark or ligth, seem to mast have all faction bat.... best only jedi and FS playerswho have skill for that.....(sory of my bad english)....
That slot is not for decoration... you can load an astromech droid into the fighter as opposed to the normal Imperial Flight Computer option.
So huzzah for it being the only non-Rebel ship that canuse an astromech!
Oh! ... That's my problem.
And to think here I was trying to squeeze my Storm Squad special flight comp behind the seat in that blasted tiny cockpit! When all this time I just had to duct tape it into that er .. "droid slot" you say? How crude.

"The quests only take ground faction in to account. But yes, you have to have finished the quest to generate the ship." (i.e. getting an Imperial to get the ship, and then trading is not an option)
"Yes but that is a bug JoKen. Even after the fix, you still have to have finished the ARC-170 quest to use the deed." (referring to the current bug with the ARC-170 where no one can use it, even after questing)
"Correct. The cert is there so if in the future you decide to switch factions, you will not all of a sudden forget how to pilot your quest reward." (answer to "Why have certifications in all three trees if I have to be Imperial to get it?")

You might want to add a link to this thread where SWG-Swede explains the reasons for the certifications in all three trees. I'll put the pertinent quotes here:

After reading that, why was the thing even made tradeable then?

Poor Anzel... That nice pre-nerf reward engine has just about bought the farm.
I still don't understand whythey werechanged.

Yeah, she's on her last leg. Man I would love to be able to slip old Betty into an ADK. Although it seems the SWs got a boost in the crafted engines so cross your fingers.
Haven't been on Kashyyyk yet, but I've heard that some zones cannot be travelled to until you unlock access with some quests.
Does the Jedi Starfighter quest require you to travel to such areas? Or you can complete the quest the very first time you land in Kashyyyk?
Thanks.

Read his text when he gives you the deed. He's suggesting it'll be helpful with the mission he's giving you.

You do not have to finish Vader's quest to fly it. My buddy hasn't done the mission yet and he just trained in 4333 freelance pilot. He's flying the JSF now!
THE JSFROCKS!!
