Not all over again, if you are a current Master, it's way easier to get 900k weapon experience when you are already a Master as opposed to trying to get them while training in the profession.

Shay, what does /checkforce say? R u glowing? All xp except Smuggler slicing can be converted. But Rogue is right. Its best to have a master prof allowing you to get weap xp as fast as possible.

Check this TC Post: Right now it is Weap 10 to 1, combat 1 to 1.

Huh? So are you saying what actually went live and what's displayed in that list from the TC forum are different?

Has anybody, anywhere, found an _updated_ conversion rate list of what actually went Live?

And yes, I did try the Search function on the forums. All I found was seemingly outdated TC info.

This is correct. They hardly ever give any info out, but sometimes even give dis-information. They will never I'm sure, post the exact data. They hate you trying to be a Jedi!

If this info is correct they should raise the XP cap so you don't have to keep going back to convert it as often.

Okay, this might sound as a silly question

But by 6 branches, you meen skill-trees? Veichle Control, etc is 1 tree, so 6 of those, right?

Thanks...

A branch = 4 skill boxes. (I.E. Vehicle Control I: Ground Sense, Vehicle Cntrol II: Superior Handling, Vehicle Control III: Vehicle Harmony, Vehicle Control IV: Reflexive Driving)

A tree = 14 or all skill boxes, noviceto master. (I.E Novice Enhanced Reflexes, Ranged Defense 1-4, Melee Defense 1-4, Vehicle Control 1-4, Survival 1-4, Enhanced Reflexes Master)

You only need 6 branches or 24 skills. You don't need tomaster any trees.

this may be a dumb question but i am confused .I unlocked combat prowess ranged accuracy skill branch.how do i train talk ed to trainer he cant help me is there a way i am supposed to convert my xp to fsxp and if so how.

Did you do the holos? Did you receive any Free unlocks. If you get Free unlocks the FsXP is also given to you, so you goto the trainer and train.

If you did not get the Free FSXP, then you have to get 12.25 million Weap/Combat xp and convert it to use to fill up the boxes in that branch.

Ok...you guys are somewhat hitting on the topic that is the most unclear to me after reading all there is to read on this. Hopefully someone can help me out.

As I understand it:

Four phases, and four branches per phase. You can only do one branch at a time.

Correct, 1 branch at a time.

Generic Questions:

  • Can you do more than one branch per phase?

Unknown, maybe someone can find an answer.

  • Is there an optimal unlocking pattern for each amount of unlocks? IE: what are my BEST choices for 1 unlock, 2 unlocks, 3 ,4 and 5?

You just have to plan ahead and estimate the xp you can get each phase. The phases are all listed and they all require the same amount of FSXP (combat/weap)

Is there a pattern or is the optimal path specific branches to learn?

note: When I say optimal - I mean most efficient use of unlocks to minimize waiting on phases

Same as above.

My personal info

  • I expect to have a couple of unlocks, but close to 2 or 3.

  • 14 professions

  • all holos till silent

  • 80 badges

  • glowy on login after patch 10

  • I'm still waiting on a visit from the old man (but i see you might have to wait for the sith too) [edit]

The problem is that none of this information was provided by Devs. It has been left up to the players to figure it out. On TC they went thru the 4 phases of the village to test and we are hopingplayers got it right and Devs did not change anything.

One post from JustG said they had lowered the conversion requirements. ie, 10 combat = 1 FSxp and TH post lists the Village phases, but no where do they tell u the quests in each phase.

got a question about survival....

at box 4 it gives u bonus to creature harvesting... but can u even harvest without the "harvest corpse" ability at novice scout? I am basically wondering if i can harvest hides etc as a JEDI if i get this line cuz otherwise, i dont really see a benifit to it

If you're going all the way to Jedi, many of these boxes are useless. I mean, why would you want Ranged Accuracy using a LS unless they count throwing a LS as ranged.

Maybe Terrain Neg will carry over to Jedi, but no one knows these things.

ok I so lost and confused.

post 9 unlocker did all 32 profs.

I read this post but just dont get where I am to unlock/train my 6 free branches.

Here are the NPC's in the village. Just make sure you UNLOCK THEN TRAIN. DONT UNLOCK, UNLOCK, UNLOCK TRAIN OR U WILL LOSE XP.

So, see Paemos to get the boxes free, then goto Noldan to train. Back to Paemos etc......

Rohak -- The village elder. He will introduce you to the village and tell you how you might aid the village.

Captain Sarguillo -- In charge of defending the village, the Captain may ask you to aid in protecting Aurillia.

Silvarra -- the village's medic. She offers opportunities to prove your worth to the village by healing and caring for its defenders.

Quharek -- a mon calamari that offers a crafting quest that is not yet understood.

Alpoka -- NPC of unknown background. Offers a collection-oriented quest.

Whip -- NPC of unknown background that appears to offer quests at some point. At other times he can be found bemoaning the fate of his "master".

Paemos -- A very important NPC, Paemos will allow you to transfer your experiences and learnings outside the village into understanding of your Force Sensitivity. Also known as the XP converter (see XP conversion below). Paemos is also the person that holo-grinders will want to visit for "free branch unlocks" (see Holo-grind Rewards below).

Noldan -- Another very important NPC. When you are ready, Noran will train you in new Force Sensitive skills. (see FS training below)

That is Aurilia in a nutshell -- where you will undertake various quests and be able to uncover your latent FS abilities. The next sections will deal with how you learn FS skills and how you undertake the quests that the village has to offer.
