No, we do have proof, well at least I know that thunderheart has read it. I sent him a link and asked if he had read it and he said that he had. So at least the devs are really looking into this. To bad that because I can't possibly make it to the fanfest means I have less of a chance to get into the beta for the space expasion

Thats cool to know, although i dont know if it will help us that can't go to fan fest at all. I just really wish I could get there... if only I lived maybe a few thousand miles closer

Sadly I see nothing in the Space Expansion which draws me away from the conclusion that ultimately SWGis a very repetitive and boring game once you reach a certain point. There is a thrill of sorts to levelling, but if you haven't got the time in your life to grind Jedi in under 6 years (it took me 4 months to make TKM with the time I have available to play) then what does this game actually offer outside of leveling and grinding? Where is the casual fun? It just has mission after mission after mission which are all the same or variations on a theme no matter which profession you are in - and I tried most of the basic ones.

A civil war which isn't a war just a load of characterswho have much more time than others running around killing less able characters. Well yeah, more fool them for being TEF or overt - but where is the content if you aren't into this?

More spam than my e-mail of course without the benefit of anything to weed it out.

And when they add significant content - which sounded cool in the last few updates- its pitched at the level of the Uber gamers.

Don't get me wrong, I wish I'd had the time to devote to the game they do, nothing against them at all, but I don't. SWG isn't really a game you can dip into and still particpate in meaningfully. I'm a roleplayer from before the times there was computer RPG and I have to say that this isn't really RPG the way it is played on the servers I am on.I have yet to meet anyone who stays in character for even a little while and the abuse that is thrown around wouldn't have lasted ten minutes in a real RPG.

I waited for the SE announcements, but now I know that, ultimately, Space is not going to be any better than the XvT games - probably worse with lag and space spam (wouldn't surprise me) and I have those - not needing to pay for them again. The old games will have more detail, more controls etc thanSE can manage and still link in to the MMORPG.

SWG was my first MMORPG and I might try one more, the Matrix could be interesting though it looks... less well put together than SWG from what is available to see, but Space really doesn't seem to be offering any real content. Just a change of scenery for grinding yet more XP. For kreetle read space mynock. For Kryat read SpaceSlug. For T21 read A-Wing. Same old missions, same old "rewards". It's a shame, because this is the first SW game I have given up on and I thought it could be really cool... but really, when the basic system isn't even working yet what hope is there? Oh, a jedi quest system in the future... no doubt which will only really work for the uber gamers. Again, good luck to them but this is the whole problem, the system isn't flexible enough (and can't be on a computer) to allow anything else.

Thanks to the peeps who I played with and adios to those I didn't.

The space expansion will not be the same grinding. It will be live action, arcade flight sim combat against other players, and NPC's in space. Its not like its the same mission fighting NPC's... its real action. Its the same with any FPS, its NEVER the same thing. So I don't truly understand where your saying it will be the same. Your not gonna be there hittingthe same macro combos over and over, your acctually gonna be flying your ship and pulling the trigger every time. BIGGG diffrence. But Hey everyone can look at it however they want to.

Yea Idaho, would make it alot easier!(Under statement of the year)

Bespin,Coruscant,Ilum,Korriban,Hoth,Nar Shadda would be good planets that should be added.Narshadda,Coruscant, and Bespin would fit into the game by adding bunch of thugs(new thugs too) and stuff u see on any planet.Hoth would work as a PvP planet that still has tauntarns, wampas, and some stuff seen on about every planet.IIum would work as a jedi planet in which u can fight jedi and dark jedi npcs explore the illum jedi temple and the jedi can harvest crystals(good ones) plus u can fight stealth droids and other droids from the clonewars and stuff seen on alot of the planets.Korriban would be a Dark jedi planet in which they can forage crystals(uber ones because dark jedi r offense),bunch of KOTOR creatures and a must is the Tera'Takta, dark jedi and light jedi hidden and sercuity droids plus the sith temple ruins. The thug planets r divide into to two parts high lvl and low lvl.Reb rule low lvl.Imps rule high lvl.The thug planets r also New player planets. The outer planets r elite planets. The outer planets citys r mostly outpostes.

New mounts and vehicles i would want to see would be tauntrans and airspeeders.Air speeders can hover above the ground much higher than other vehicles.Swoop and speeders should be able to shoot vehicles only and all vehicles should be able to ram each other and carry 2 people the 2nd person is able to use weapons on vehicles or there drivers but nothing else.

Starships and starfighters i would like to see would be ISDs,VSDs,Corvettes,Mon cals,X-wings,A-wings,Z-95s,Y-wings,Tie interceptors,Tie fighter, tie bombers,Tie advances.

Nice list there! I agree with you fully on all those things as well. I doubt they will have pc controllable VSD's or Mon cal's. Those will most likely be npc attackable capital ships in bigger mission scenarios. Corvettes and Transports are probably going to be the player controllable multi person ships. I think they will have all the starfighters you listed except the a-wing, but then again they may have that as well..........LOL!.........I am excited and we shall see as we get more info.
