Just a few posts back(right after you asked the first time )I stated my medium evolved into a large and its growth never went any higher than Very Slow. As a large, its growth has improved to Slow.

I just harvested my second fruit!

My plant finally evolved into a large plant. Just for the record, it was in "perfect condition" for exactly one week, with growth rate varying from "very slow" to "slow" to "below normal". So I guess it just takes patience.

I have found some conditions that seem to get me "very slow" growth rate for my large plant. It is in perfect condition. Any idea how long it will take to get some fruit? Or should I mess around to try to get a better growth rate?

As long as your plant isnt in danger of dieing and you remember the very slow combo, i'd say screw around.

I just got my medium to v slow, but i am gonna fiddle a bit with it.

I am in no rush for large

i have a large plant, had the plant in total 2 weeks now and now its large i dont want it to die, i was told to use lowDR and high OQ which i am, also told they like light so i place 3 free standing blue leaf lamps around it as all plants like light to grow so try adding more light to where your plants are see what affect that has . will update later today let u know if i get any changes

nutrient and water stats do help but there is no evidence that light helps growth at all. I think its just a myth.

My plant has been at perfect condition and very slow growth for over 2 weeks now and its beginning to get me annoyed. I know i should be patient but its hard when you hear about other peoples plants evolving isnt it

Ok, here may be a kink in the water/nutrient level drops...whenever my plant updates and there has been a drop in the levels, both my water and nutrients drop evenly, one sublevel (e.g a "high" dry to a "low" dry) per water and nutrients. I have never had one drop without the other.

As for food/water, both have DRs in the low 900s, so a high DR doesn't seem to affect it too adversly. My large is still at perfect, slow growth and dropped it's fourth fruit. I may tinker a bit with food/water with a low DR and see if it improves the growth rate.

Patience may not be the answer...

You could be in a loop. The nutrient/water requirements are diferent at diferent health levels.

So imagine you check your plant at say noon each day it could be that your plant uses water and nutrient at say 6pm then goes to wilting due to this change. At 1am next day it drops condition to full of life. But the nutrient/water requirements are diferent at diferent levels so lets say that with Full of life condition it requires the new (lower) levels. It becomes Very slow growth and at say 9am it pops into Perfect condition again and then you check it - it says Very slow (the most recent rate of growth) and perfect, you top up the nutrient levels and the cycle repeats.

To break the loop you need to pay the plant more attention and be able to top up the nutrients imediatly they drop. Of course if you ignore it then chances are eventualy it will do a double update or something and the cycle will break.

This is just a posability of course, I don't know what is going on with your plant.

Angof has the same thing going on that I do, I'll bet. It's not a loop. I sign on 3 or 4 times a day, just to check on my stupid small plant. It's been at perfect for over 3 weeks, very slow growth pretty much the whole time. Water/nutrients go down one step every 24-48 hours. Growth ratedoes not change, and it has not evolved. I'm ready to chuck this thing off my balcony into the middle of the Dune Sea.

Clearly the "perfect" health bar takes longer to fill than the previous health bars did, but this is ridiculous. If people hadn't already posted saying that their plants did evolve at very slow growth rate, I would start screwing around with the settings.

Got my first melon !

keeping the levels on very dry, very low (as stated in my earlier posts last page) with

growth rate below normal.

it took 5-6 weeks in all, but i think the plant will produce fruit longer without changing requirements

as it didnt grow very fast to begin with. (just hoping anyways)

Aye the thing is there may be a whole raft of people who have bugged plants and dont even know it. I may put a ticket into csr's to see if i can elicit a response

For 3 weeks, my (large) plant has been stuck on Very Slow growth rate. It hit "None" or "Wilting" a couple times because I was trying different things.

Suppose there's an evolution timer for each plant.... if your plant is perfect condition it will evolve as long as there's some sort of growth rate. If you have very slow growth rate, maybe it takes 6x as long as if it were very fast........ the question is, does the timer reset if you hit "none" for growth rate?

I posted a csr ticket about the possibility of it being bugged and the response was that its acting as it should do.

anyone wanna join me at the top of Greater Misty falls for an aurilian plant throwing contest?
